One of the holy river of India. Starts from hills of Kedarneth. Very beautiful views are there along the stream. Sound of the river at Gaurikund is very loud. it is one of the feeding rivers to the mighty Ganges river. Hope these rivers will continue to Enrich the Indian lives till the earth is there.

Himalayan rivers are divine in every aspects. They never stops to amaze me.

What a classic beauty!!! Simply awesome... It's like a teenager flourishing & waiting meet her life partner... Real excitement...that's why Raj Kapoor called his heroine from Ram teri ganga maili as Mandakini... But the original i.e. Mandakini of Kedar is more beautiful & spectacular... It was a tour of a lifetime...

If you are are nature lover and wanted a great experience , then please visit once in your life.
The water of Mandakini river is so pure and sweet at same time . But some problems are their like roads are not good , Rates of goods are very high. so I will suggest take some food of your own if you want to save money. But overall it's a great experience I'm guaranteeing you will not regret after going there.
But please this is my personal request to everyone reading this that please maintain cleanliness and inspire other also to do so.

Great location, joining of two river and mixing together with different colour of water. Worth of visiting one time in our life.

The Mandakini River is a tributary of the Alaknanda River in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The river runs for approximately 81 kilometres between the Rudraprayag and Sonprayag areas and emerges from the Chorabari Glacie

Very pious river, a substitutory of Ganga. Flow of water is very fast and water is very pure. You can witness it's sangam with Alaknanda river near Rudraprayag.

There is nothing better than listening the sound of Mandakini river while covering the route to holy shrine of Baba Kedarnath.
In between the route to Kedarnath you will get a chance to cross mandakini river near Rambara.

Over there take a brake near the river. Just keep your legs inside the chilled water and it will let you forget the tiredness of tracking and refreshing.
