Went for a family lunch with a friend, amazing place , very well maintained! the lunch was typically a gujrati thali but every item was very exquisite and tasty and freshly made.
The portions are unlimited as one can’t keep eating but the taste of the shrikhand and the hand made cream was really great !
The service is excellent but he waiters should also allow some privacy while having food as they keep asking whether you want more helpings!
Definitely a place to recommend for a great authentic dinning experience with a touch of history!

This is the most favorite place for an family and friends outing. The ambience is great and the food is awesome. This is just perfect place for an amazing meal and incredible experience.

Magnificent place to stay at. Absolutely phenomenal staff - they are so welcoming, kind and attentive. The kitchen staff in particular make you feel so at home and taken care of. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and have your needs met. I came with my family with small kids, and our stay in Ahmedabad was made so comfortable because of the kitchen staff of MG. Food is good too, of course. The experience of having a Gujarati Thali is not to be missed!

Amazing heritage hotel with so much to see.
Food very good. Service in the Green restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Lots of staff but not good at welcoming or helping at late breakfast time.

We did not sleep there, but enjoyed dinner on the roof with traditional music and this will be a beautiful memory for ever. The food was delicious.

This is where you bring people if they want to try Gujarati thali for the first time. Such good food, such good ambience and amazing service.

It's a heritage property owned by the Mangaldas family. They have indeed preserved the heritage of Gujarati family customs and traditions very well. Everywhere you look inside, they have family pictures of their 5 generations. They also have haveli in Manekchowk and at Mangalbaug near Parimal garden. We went for luncheon at their Lal darwaja haveli. By Ahmedabad standards, their food is very expensive but their thali's taste is amazing.Every piece of food is outstanding !! So is the inside decor and ambience. If you want to taste authentic Gujarati thali, this IS the place to be. OUTSTANDING !!!

One of the best heritage home converted in to hotel & having restaurant serving delicious Gujarati food. It is situated on opposite side of Nehru bridge in East side of Ahmedabad.

Such a beautiful property. The staff is lovely. It is located in the heart of the city but still you can't feel the chaos when chilling inside. Authentic Gujarati food. Very hygienic.

One of the iconic hotel in the Heart of Ahmedabad city. I have stayed many times at House of MG and eveytime it's feel different. The staff are very humble and the atmosphere of the property is excellent no words to describe. The architecture of the property is so classy that you fall in love with the property.

You need to visit once if you want to discover the heritage life of the old times.

Nice place to be. Went there for the office dinner, tried authentic gujarati food and it was good. Even if your palate does not like sweet dal, you can still go and try this place once.

Visited the Green House, food and service were amazing, Undhiyu and thier special green house juice are a must try!

Yesterday i.e on 8th October, 2023 Sunday evening, we seven friends had a dinner at 'Agashiye" Restaurant at House of MG. The dinner was very delicious and all the food menu was very nice. The ambience was very cosy and comfortable. Service right from the reception counter Ms Maria to the dinner staff all were very courteous and polite. This is a must visit restaurant.
