Dolphin ECO Park

The park is situated on the bank of holy Ganga. In Sojhi Ghat, Munger. Very peaceful place and beautiful place where u can see the beauty of ganga river and a very beautiful and heart catching Sunset. You can enjoy with your family and friends. And enjoy the beauty of the place. 😊

I will say best place for an outsider to see some gangetic bottle nose dolphin at a reasonable cost of 10 rupees for a day ticket. Though if you are a local well there are lots of places , i usually like to watch them at the rocky side of Kashtaharni ghat ( when river recedes enough in summer time) dipping my feet in water and sitting on the rocks . Only suggestion is carry your own drinking water.

Wonderful place for visit with family. There is new concept of social awareness towards save water, save forest etc.

It is quite a great place to visit during sunrise and sunsets , a great place to just chill out and enjoy the views.

It is situated on at the bank of river.entry fee of this park is only ₹5 .there are different type of flower,,and show plant ,which is very attractive. Which fresh our mind .and many painting and statue of dolphin. There are lots of people come here to see this park especially in evening . You can also enjoy sunset from here which looks very beautiful.people come here from every religions like Hindu, Muslim,Sikh ... Which give us the lesson of equality and brotherhood.just in front of dolphin park you can enjoy the river . Boats are always available here you can also enjoy river by boats and can see the creatures of river.

Dolphin ecological park munger is named as the munger kahalgaon ganga area and comes under the ecological area of Gangetic dolphin which is found majorly here. The area is developed besides Sokhi Ghat of munger city as a tourist attraction. The project is developed under Ganga development plan namami gange of Central government projects of developing Ganga bank. The site is maintained by Munger Nagar Nigam. These are entry tickets of Rupees 5 only. The site gives the best view of ganga at sunset. You can spend some time here to watch a beautiful sunset with peace. Many Street vendors are also there to serve you quick bites. The place is not so big but a must visit place if you come to Munger.

Its good to see sunset beside a river and here is the place if you want to. Your kids will also love this place this place have some playing area which have slider, see-saw, boat, etc. If you get lucky you could see Ganga river dolphins swimming here. In the evening its entry fee is ₹5.

Beautiful location. Ganga river view at its best. Visiting time upto 6 pm only. That's not good in Summer. It should be upto 7 pm.

Namami Gange intiative to clean ganga and it's banks via making parks and protecting marine ecology i.e dolphin is commendable but it need more care and public private partnership to build it more sustainable
