An 19th century temple with idol probably 500 years old and earlier known as Jalalpur hanuman is inside Cantt area and open to public each day, so depicts the introductory plaque.

One thing for certain,locals and nearby people have deep faith and belief here.

Avoid visit on Tuesday and Saturday to have peaceful Darshan, visit on other days.

The place is located in the army contentment zone under some typical restrictions like you are not able to go inside with bag and hand parce. But you feel divine to visit the temple. It's a very calm holy Hanuman temple in Shahibaug Ahmedabad. Every Saturday thousands of people come here to worship Lord Hanuman.

Cleanest temple i have seen. This temple is part of an army cantonment area so that security is there. All the armymen are so friendly and helpful to all. There two carts for senior citizen who can't walk.

Everything was nice and well managed, the parking, the golf vehicles for devotees, the cold drinking water, nice and clean area.
Must visit, don't forget to bring the prasad from the temple.

Hanumanji temple located near airport in Shahibaug which is known as Hanuman Camp. This temple falls in the Army Containment Zone. No purse or bag of any kind is allowed to be carried while visiting Hanumanji here in the temple and you are required to have some ID proof. Thousands of pilgrims come every Saturday. The temple feels very peaceful. On the wall of the temple there are pictures of Ramayana which look very beautiful. It was my childhood memories that I have never forgotten. When I was a child. My father and I go to the Kemp Hanuman Temple every Saturday.

-Since, the temple is in military area, ID card of one of your family members will be verified at the entrance.

-You can not carry any bags inside it.

-From the entrance, you need to have around 10 minutes of walk to reach to the temple.

-There is a facility of open electric car for aged & handicapped people, pregnant woman and kids at free of cost.

-This is not a tourist place; however, devotees have lots of faith in this spiritual place and usually remains crowded on Saturdays.

It's so mesmerising place, so much calmness here, as it's in an army camp there is so much security there , we need identity card to get the entry and foreigners are not allowed there only indians can go inside the camp

The Shree Camp Hanumanji Temple was known as Jalalpur Village Hanumanji Temple. One of the biggest Hanuman temples of India. It is situated in the Ahmedabad Cantonment in Shahibaug.The temple is owned and managed by the Hanuman Mandir Camp Trust, Ahmedabad where there are 7 trustees at present.The temple is built in Dravidian architectural style. The main sanctum sanctorum of the temple houses a gold plated statue of Lord Hanuman. Premises is very beautiful and calm for devotion. There is a space for devotees to offer prayers.

Very nice and clean campus. The temple is well maintained by army personnel. so follow the rules and security protocols. no bags are allowed inside only phones. Very positive energy at the temple. Saturday was a bit crowded but as the campus is big it is not problematic at all.
