The Ummed Ahmedabad

It was a last moment booking and we are happy that we chose this hotel for our stay.
The reception desk is always ready to help you through all the necessary requirements and queries.
The room was very neat, clean and the view from the room was quite nice.
The housekeeping staff was always up for the daily requirements and cleaning, that is very important that the cleanliness is maintained.
The location is about just 2 km away from the airport so, it gave us comfort regarding our time management for the flights even if we got late due to work to catch up the flight.
There are a few more things to add,
1. The quality of food is great.
2. There's a swimming pool for your daily cool off purpose.
3. There's a gym with well equipped machines for your daily fitness mantra.
So we loved our stay and will definitely recommend the others for this hotel whenever they are in Ahmedabad.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The staff was cooperative, Ruby one of the staffs was helpful way too much. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable stay.

We had a social function guests staying at Ummed , very very good service , right from front desk to concierge, food is very tasty, feel is very old world charm.
Just a little trouble for senior citizens for having high beds.
Location is good, heard they are going for some renovations in March.

Its my son’s birthday so we went to celebrate it in The ummed and stayed there for 2days . There team at reception knows how to impress the guest. While they saw the date of birth of my son quickly they all came to wish us and provided a cake in the evening they even offer a chargeable deco which we dnt require. We had dinner which was nice . Although they made us feel wow .

Very near to the Airport, the Hotel is very comfortable to stay! The staff is friendly and efficient! The food is excellent! Enjoyed my stay. Would love to come back again!!!

We were there in business meeting and dinner. Although space is good but they can't manage more people. Service is little bit slow have to improve. Even they can't Handle just 10 % more gathering. Otherwise food is good and tasty but as earlier said service is issue. Overall a good venue with great ambiance.

The hotel has large rooms, very good house keeping, good breakfast buffet, and gym and other facilities. The price keeps fluctuating and can go quite high (above 8k if not booked before hand). Mr. Naveen Kumar, the housekeeping department leader, helped us tremendously (with housekeeping, sightseeing, room service related things) during our stay and made it very pleasent and comfortable.

This place was awesome, we come here regularly for the business meeting and conference the staff was excellent especially Raktima was friendly and co-operative,the chefs the manager all were just perfect. The food was also good and cleanliness was well maintained.

Great location though an old building. Some rooms are a little musty but ideal location.
Their spa was worth the experience. The gym was not too good with two machines out of service. Nothing swank.

I haven't been into the hotel as a 'guest' however, i visited this hotel to visit my friend. And i could access the longue. From the look and feel, it feels quite premium and a nice quality hotel. The parking is also decent enough. The staff seems to be very hospitable. Would love to visit this hotel as a proper 'guest' to review it properly...

An automatic choice because of its location. No staff approached while we waited for the guest , the venue is excellent to host a gathering and each staff is well disciplined with Greeting and being cooperative.

Best thing they are doing with folded hands Namaste at lobby and Reception. Thank you to Gentelman at lobby in grey suite for delivering luggage quickly in my room. Solo trip but best hospitality.

The ambiance was nice. Services were really great and the staff was cooperative. Must mention - The lift was fast!! which is very convenient. Nice rooms and hospitality too.

We were greeted by Rajesh at the check in counter, and he was very gracious. He spoke English well enough for us to understand each other. He was kind, patient, and explained things to us well. He helped us get a translator and a ride to go shopping. We came after a weeklong trip here in India and were tired and frazzled, and desperate for a place to stay after our flight got changed. The price was only $75 and included everything. They even had smoking rooms available (which is impossible in the United States) and they brought my husband an ashtray and matches. we’ve just arrived, and we’re already thrilled.
