Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park, Chhat Bir Zoo, Zirakpur

Visited Chatbir Zoo recently and was surprised by the bustling crowd. I didn't anticipate such a large turnout. Fortunately, ample parking alleviated any concerns, and the zoo's vast size ensured the crowd didn't feel overwhelming. The zoo is exceptionally well-maintained, and I particularly enjoyed the Lion Safari. They transport you in a mini-bus, stopping where lions are present. The Dinosaur Park inside the zoo is a great attraction for kids. Given the zoo's considerable size, I recommend arriving early to fully explore it—it's worth dedicating 2-3 hours for a comprehensive visit.

It's an amazing day hangout with your kids... Starting attraction TIger and then Dinosaur, which is just amazing to kids they're look a like alive... And all type of zoo animals there 🦁🦌🦣🦛🐒🦔🐦🦜🦩🦚. Canteen inside there with reasonable price with range of food 🥪🍜🍿🥫. Don't forget to buy tickets of e- rikshaw otherwise you'll become tired. Must visit specially winter season...

One of the best zoology park to visit. Lion and deer safari is amazing with a price of 70 rs per person. E cars are very helpful specially when you have kids with you. Very neat and clean area. Have 2 small food courts in the zoo.

When you want to show animals to ur kids. Be there. It's a very good place. Only thing u need to remember that carry ur food.. also packets and one time plastic is not allowed in zoo.. so carry edibles in boxes.

This a good zoo with a really wide variety of Animals reptiles and Birds. The entry is ₹100/- per adult and ₹50/- per children above 3 years. There are e-karts available at additional cost, if you want to skip the long walk. There is a Bus safari through the lion and deer enclosure which is just okay. You can carry food as long as there are no plastic covers involved. There are two cafeterias inside but the food is very close to pathetic. There is a Dinosaur park which is a must see especially for kids.

You can see all type of animals in this zoo but needs more maintenance and care when it comes to taking care of them crocodile 🐊 was not moving at all everyone around felt it was no more alive!!! It's a huge zoo one must definitely visit and see it

Awsome experience, clean and maintained zoo. Lion safari is a must to do it costed me 75rs per person but worth it. Also love the dinosaur park. It's a very big park so If you have elders with you do take E-Rikshaw that will cost you rs 60 per person. That will be a good help for them. There is a canteen inside you will get basic food and cold drinks. There is good parking space available.

If you are into wildlife and can walk for long distance then it is perfect place for you, here you can find almost every kind of wild animal and not forget majestic Jurassic park which have very relastic dinosaurs

Amazing zoo. It has a lot of animals including Tiger, Lion, hoppos, crocodiles and a lot more. Lions are kept inside a separate park so will have to buy separate jungle safari tickets for that. The vehicle's facility is there to ease the walking. Dianasaur park is amazing.

I went to this zoo during winters. It’s a huge zoo with tons of animals. It is one of the best place to take kids.

Highlight of this zoo is the Dino Park which is amazing. Dinosaur are robotic and does give the feel of real dinosaurs.

There’s no entry without ticket. Theres small canteen where one can eat snacks. There’s also a paid cart service which will take you to the each section of the zoo. But I will recommend to walk and experience the wonder of this zoo and it’s amazing inhabitants. Good parking facilities is available.

You can spend a full family day here. Lots of animals are here . Area is also very large. You can enjoy lion safari also here. Canteen is also here inside the zoo so no need to worry if you get hungry by walking so much. Another attraction point is dinosaur park here. Kids can enjoy there fantastic picnic here.

A beautiful and well maintained place for outing with the family and kids. Polythene and plastic is not allowed inside but you can carry your belongings and eatables. Take a full day for this wonderful experience. Connectivity with auto and own vehicles are available.
