Kalagram

Kalagram is situated in Panchkula Road,Railway Colony, Sector-13, Chandigarh. Kalagram is a beautiful craft village in the city. If you have come in Chandigarh then do not forget to visit here.In Kalagram, you will get to see mostly clay and handcraft art. People of all age groups can come here very comfortably. Many fairs are organized in Kalagram throughout the year.
In which handcraft stalls are set up, big artists present their work. There is a Punjabi style restaurant here where you can eat comfortably. In fact, this is a very beautiful Kalagram very close to Chandigarh Railway Station. Must include this in your Chandigarh travel list.

Kalagram is a place for kala, every year in the month of December, a craft mela for 10 days is organised. Famous singer performance there. People can enjoy shopping, eating and dancing. Besides this some other programs are also organised frequently.

A place to have all traditional fair, functions etc. Trade fair, cultural fair etc. Must visit place

I have been attending this fair for the last 4 years. From traditional food to craftsmanship, everything from every corner of the country can be seen here. And well-known singers add charm to the evening of this fair with their voices.

The decorations are pretty good. Food is average in taste. The bar is perfect for old friends meeting point and sharing memories.

Its a nice venue. I attended The Chandigarh Comedy Fest here and it was mind blowing. The ambience is good. Food quality is also great. Had a great time enjoyed with almost 1000 - 1500 people here so had a fun night. Overall a good place to attend these kinda public events. Not sure about private parties.

Baithak is one of the oldest and finest dining places in the City. Their palak chart is to die for. All of the food was very well presented though I cannot share the photos because it was wiped off the plates. Do not try lemon coriander soup. The main course is yum. Weekends are really crowded which again justify the quality of food the place serves.

There's dandiya / garba night till 5th of Oct. I visited that event , It was so amazing , had alottt of fun there with my friends , we played with dandiya for 3 hours. They had alot of food stalls and various other activities.

Amazing outing at Crafts Mela with family. It was really a burst of colours and stalls from northern and western states of India. Camel rides, dance and cultural programme, merry-go-rounds and amazing food from Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan Bihar and Punjab. Well spent 4 hours!!!

A wonderful experience.... Don't go just to dine here, but to be a part of chokhi Dhani ( small lovely village) enjoy various shows on culture and tradition of Rajasthan. Must visit for a memorable experience

For culture events its excellent

Kalagram ground is very big and easily noticable from the road and it is situated in a good location too. There will be no rush so you will enjoy freely and there held many events because they are very big and there are not any playing source for small childrens but environment is amazing and mostly used for events purpose

Kalagram National Crafts Mela held every year for 4 to 5 days. Various shopkeepers are invited to sale there variety of products. For children's different types of rides and refreshment are available. Different variety of food and all kinds tasty Indian food us here. Folk dances and other stage shows are held here to entertain the public. Camel 🐫 rides are available too. Last fest was held in 2019 due to covid 19 no fest is held yet.

This is a beautiful and famous place in the city of Chandigarh. There are stone statues from India's corner corners. These statues have been made with their hands, they are wonderful. From time to time festivals-mele are held where Punjabi artists and other state artists showcase their art. There is an open stage here It is the cultural place of whole of North India. This is a Government owned place. #Cultural_heritage

We visited the kalagram during the national craft mela 2022. This is shops from most of the states from all across India. Furniture, artificial jewellery, pottery, artwork, regional artifacts are a few major attractions. We loved the food as well.

Best place to visit for art and cultural activities.Also it has very nice banquet hall for marriage and other family functions.

I visited for the first time at Chandigarh Kalagram Craft Mela. It was an awesome experience to see different cultural activities in one place.

It is very great experience to meet 12 senior artists from punjab, Himachal pardesh and Rajasthan at Kalagram . Sh. Vijay Sharma ji Padamshree awardee is one of the legent whom i met today. Amazing minature art work. A salute to all artists.
