Purwa Falls

Purwa Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the highest waterfalls in the state, with a drop of about 70 meters (230 feet). I visited Purwa Waterfall during the monsoon season, when the water flow was at its peak. The sight of the roaring waterfall was mesmerizing and exhilarating. I could feel the mist and the breeze on my face as I approached the waterfall. The sound of the water was soothing and calming. I enjoyed taking pictures and videos of the waterfall from different angles and perspectives.

Purwa Waterfall is also a place of historical and religious significance. It is said that this waterfall has a connection with the Hindu epic Ramayana, as it is believed that Lord Rama spent some time here during his exile. There is also a temple of Basaman Mama, a local deity, near the waterfall. Many devotees come here to worship and seek blessings.

Purwa Waterfall is a must-visit destination for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and pilgrims. It is easily accessible by road from Rewa city, which is about 25 km away. There are also some hotels and restaurants nearby for accommodation and food. This is a beautiful sight in dry and thirsty summers, even in summers it's offers a splendid sense of beauty which mesmerises the people many other waterfalls are only worth visiting in monsoon but it spreads it's charm in every season.Its free of cost and safe for even kids..

One of the best waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh which is situated in Rewa(the land of White Tigers). Visit in rainy and winter season. View is very soothing. You can feel the waterfall droplets.

Falls r very bful, has lot of potential to develop into a famous tourist spot.
Fake people charging parking money forcefully ranging from 50-100 depending on the vehicle, no slip/receipt provided, beware about that.

Amazing place. Put it in your bucket list for one day trip .

Place is beautiful as
nature is at its best on August , apart from that there is no such facilities like restaurant or any kind of refreshment centre nearby . Although too much beautification has been done which is so good.

1/7/2020 I visited purwa waterfall to be honest I would like to say that when it’s rainy season then u visit hare. Beautiful nature and 70 meters of depth water fall.

Pros 1. Beautiful site for friends families and loved ones.

2. Marvellous water fall 70 meters depth.
3. Easy to roam within a campus.
4. Must visit only on rainy season like August or late July.

Cons 1. No tea tapri or small restaurant to eat.
2. No public transportation so go with your own vehicles.

Really a blissful place. In monsoon when the gates are open nothing can match the beaty of this waterfall.one of the best in the world.
The fall is so strong that you cannot stand near it without getting wet.water seems to be coming up from the fall

Best time to visit is rainy season...you must visit this place once in a lifetime but by your own convenience. Poor connectivity from nearby bus stands and railway stations. So please keep time in your hand. Safe journey!!!

One of the Best waterfall in rewa district, The Falls are 200 feet high (nearly 67 m) and present one heck of a robust view. The falls are intense and an enormous volume of water falls every second. The Falls are on River Toans, descending the cliff of Rewa Plateau. However, the Falls gain or lose their majesty with season and are best to visit when the rains are in full swing.

Beautiful fall in middle of nowhere and its stunningly clean as well thanks to local population! Very deep and beautiful! Loved the view!

What a lovely place really you can't believe that in route of jaitwara to Rewa there is a beautiful fall is there and you will shocked after going there that how beautiful fall is there the best time to visit there is July August September October November

Best place to visit ,the constantly gushing of water makes the view more beautiful and we can feel the water droplets as rain just by going near it...of you are lucky you can see multiple rainbows at this place .
