The museum's well maintained and photography was not allowed inside the halls,

Outside garden a available with limited parking.

As per history the museum's have letter from prime minister Indra Gandhi, Nehru's for sivaji maharaj empire.,

God's painting from BC Nand AD available at 1500 to 1600 ancient times.

War weapons are displayed, and beauty products of queens also displayed.

Main highlights are ancient coins are displayed in various time like sultan empire coins, mukal empire coins, sivaji empire coins and finally our British coins also displayed.

If you want to know the history of the coins , the museum's was best place and best choice to visit.

Entry fees 5rs per Adult, 2rs for children above 5yrs old.

Place is very good. Historical weapons etc of maratha state are shown but no body was there to help you. 1500 AD drowning of Lord krishan ,Hunaman and other and also I seen kundali of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. All types of coins from ancient time to present time were shown. It opens at 10:30 but we have to wait till 10:45 to get tickets.

Very large museum. War weapon, different coins & other artifices from the Maratha Empire. Must visit this place. Very nominal fee. Children may love this place.

Indeed a great experience. Visited this place with my husband. We enjoyed having a great conversation on history. We have visisted couple of other museums beforebut the best part about this museum was the information they quoted not only referring to Ch. Shivaji, but also about the other dynasties before and after Ch. Shivaji reign. Worth a visit when you step in to Aurangabad

Great museum of great warrior Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Museum have lots of good weapons, coins, Costumes, Sculpture etc. Which shows a good projection of Indian architect, handicrafts, engineering and history.
History of Marathas is one of the best in all over world.
It's one of the best museum I have visited yet. Beautiful place and also good maintained.

Good museum to visit having lots of things to see have swords,guns,canons,shells of the age of chh.shivaji maharaj well maintained ticket is also not too high. Good place to see in aurangabad if you are intrested in ancient things or history espacially for students

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum - Awesome place and must visit to know about our country's history, Marathas, Rajput's and a lot of other warrior clans. A wonderful place set in a serene location. The area is peaceful. Information is very useful.

There are artificial ponds created through water harvesting. It's a beautiful place to spend a day with family & friends.

One of the Best Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum. The Museum has artifact as old as 1200 AD. One of the main highlights of the museum is that it houses the Kundli(Horoscope) of Shivaji Maharaj. THE Museum has a beautiful park on its right. Photography is prohibited inside the place. Ancient and medivial period coins, ornaments,Weapons and utensils can be seen. Manuscripts of different Rulers are on display here. Must visit place for history lovers.

It's an excellent museum containing all the valuable collection of warfare artillery, swords, coins, etc used by Shivaji and his Maratha soldiers.

The museum is dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the great Maratha ruler. Founded by the Municipal Corporation of Aurangabad, the cost of the museum is around 194 lakhs. The building has a total of 6 exhibition halls. A visit to this museum takes visitors back into the days of Maratha valor and their love for their homeland.

The exhibits on display tell stories of the glorious reign of the brave king, showcased in six galleries. The display comprises Maratha war weapons and other artifacts from the battlefield of some of the most popular wars that the Marathas fought. The main exhibits here include the 500 year old war suit, a copy of the Aurangzeb's handwritten Quran, and a 400 year old Paithani sari.

The first hall is decorated with the wooden craft which reminds us the glorious past. The second hall is full of sword shields and ancient rifles. In the next hall photographs and transparencies of forts like Torana, Lohagad, Panhalgad, Sinhagad are displayed. One can see the advanced architectural beauty of the forts. The fourth hall consists of vessels used by the people contemporary to the great King Shivaji Maharaj. There is a separate space provided for the exhibition of coins. These coins are rare. The coins were used by Satavahana Dynasty. Looking at the display, visitors can also get a detailed idea of the lifestyles of the people of Shivaji Maharaja's era.

Overall good experience just it reuire to give more information about the articles which are shown and also they can set some auto generated sleaker with fitted information so that people can not only see but understand thoroughly

Bad odour near the ladies toilet.
There is a lack of information about the object which is placed in the museum .

One of the Best places to visit in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The coin collection is very good. Entry free is 10 per person.

Good small but satisfying museum. Half day trip can be done to watch it. Tickets are only Rs. 5 per person , and Rs 2 for children

This museum is amazing. Photography is not allowed inside the museum. They have inside different types of war weapons, armor, coins, equipments, clothes etc. It is so fascinating. Must visit thus place if you love our history. They have different types of guns too which was used in 1800-1900. Coins of different kings, peshwas, marathas, Portuguese, French, British.
