हिमरू शाल
हिमरू हे रेशीम आणि कापूसानी बनलेले एक कापड आहे, जे औरंगाबादमध्ये स्थानिक पातळीवर बनवले जाते. मोहम्मद तुघलक यांच्या कारकिर्दीत हिमरू याला औरंगाबाद येथे आणण्यात आले होते, जेव्हा त्याने दिल्लीहून दिल्लीला दौलतबाद, औरंगाबाद स्थानांतरित केले होते. हर्षू शब्द फारसी शब्द हम्-रूह पासून आला ज्याचा अर्थ 'समान' आहे. हिमरू हे किन्खवाबचे प्रतिकृती आहे, जे जुन्या दिवसांमध्ये शुद्ध सोनेरी व चांदीच्या धाग्यांनी विणलेले होते आणि ते राजेशाही घराण्यांसाठी होते.
