Bobs and Pops Campsite,Coorg

It is a Gem of a place with a Gem like host(Vihan bro)
I got to know dis place on maps whilst looking fr places to visit in Madikeri and was stunned on reading reviews (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)
I also prefer going to places where there's less crowd, detached from city
This was d perfect spot so decided to come here
And luckily we wr d only ones that came to this place that day
So Vihaan bro accompanied us during Campfire n we sat and chit chatted fr hours
And I must say he is very knowledgeable and kind and told many stories and life lessons he learnt and he's very passionate at what he's doing now...

And about d place

it is just beside 2nd highest peak in Karnataka
(Kote betta/ಕೋಟೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟ)so u can trek(4km) to d peak which has better view point than Mandalpatti(ಮಾಂದಲಪಟ್ಟಿ )
And there's a Crazy waterfall nearby all to yourself

We loved d place so much that we stayed there d next day also after roaming around in Madikeri

One of my best camping experiences so far.The location is beautiful with amazing 360 view of hills.. Host is friendly and The stay also has good camp fire and music setup.

It was a good experience over all with lots of fun. Off roads, foggy morning with tent stays.

Must visit great scenic views and good vibes, hospitality is top notch

Bops and Pops Campsite provided us best camping facilities and wonderful trekking experience. The scenary on the way to the hill is amazing and we were able to have a sight of a mesmerizing view. Also, the night life with music and firecamp arrangement added on to our stay. Thank you Vihaan and team for making sure we get the best and for organising the day so well.

It was a thrilling experience for us since the camping site is quite isolated from the tribal area it was completely dark by the time we were on our way. Our mobiles were drained and with only 1 cell phone alive with 5 percent charge. Luckily it had Airtel sim that we could call the camping site owner.
Special mention to Vihaan the owner who came back to take us in the dark when we were almost clueless where to go.

The camping site is amazing and remains clouded completely in winters.

Best camping site for you and your loved ones 🌈💯 Me and my bunch of friends went for trekking & camping to Bobs and pops campsite. I must say this place is amazing in both ,rainy and winter season. The waterfalls were the highlight in the monsoon and "star gazing" was the highlight in winter. We started from Bangalore so we took the Bangalore Madikeri main Highway , were we take diversion near a place called sunti koppa via madhapur to reach the camp site. It is a bit tough but the wonderful view at the top of the hill. It is worth all the efforts. Also, the village food was finger licking. We stayed there overnight in tents that were provided by bobs and pops .

The overnight trekking was fun...surely recommended for all those who love nature and adventure!!

Bobs and Pops campsite at base of Kotta betta peak coorg- we arrived at this place in random Google search.. this was worth more than this review. Vihaan the host took good care and answered all my queries patiently right from the day i booked the slots.

Choose this place for sure as you will awestruck , by getting in close contact with mother Nature. Vihaan has got all the facilities for your perfect outdoor camping..

You wake up to a wonderful worthy sun rise. With birds chirping, and cool breeze blowing over your ears. You will get the best landscape view of nature and mountains

In the night you can enjoy the chill weather with camp fire and good audio system.

I have no words to explain the feel I had, so many stars and constellations on the sky to keep you awake.

Vihaan has kept the place so raw and wanting to stay and enjoy

He took us to the private waterfalls , which elevated our coorg experience to next level.

The approach path to the camp site and to the waterfalls was just amazing and awesome. You will experience the adrenaline rush by riding in bikes, in such nature and green paths.

Vihaan has got well cleaned restrooms with boiler facility. So it's family friendly as well. He gives you good food in night and morning.

This review will be incomplete, if i don't mention about the kotta betta trek. Vihaan guided us to the one of the best view points convered with fog. If you are fortunate enough you will experience heaven. The path to the top point will give you new feel.. we did one side of kotta betta peak trek , witnessing great view of mountain. Ask our vihaan the other trek which takes you to best sun rise view point

One of the most lovely experience I had. Gr8 location and well maintained. Very much ideal for everyone. Driving from the main road towards the camp site is worth to experience.

1. Tent stay was awesome, with neat and clean pillows and bed sheets.
2. Tasty home made food - Veg & Non-veg both are available.
3. Restroom facility is available - neat and clean.
4. Private waterfall - the best of all and very much safe.
5. Trekking experience was awesome and very well guided by the host Vihaan. Be ready for tiny leeches on the way.
6. Camp fire with a giant bluetooth music system to enjoy.

About Host Vihaan - down to Earth, with gr8 knowledge and experience on almost everything, very very helpful, has very good level of patience, most coolest host one can get.
