Myntdu river is to Jowai town like what the river Thames is to London. The river is life to the inhabitants of Jowai provide both water and electricity. At the same time, it's an angler's paradise and still pristine at many places. It is accessible from many routes and each has it's own unique landscape. Starting right from the paddy fields of Jowai right upto Rynji waterfall, Myntdu river has a story for everyone.
