Very nice and good vibration Sri Narasimha temple at Poovarasam kuppam. There are three Narasimhar temples around this area
If you visit all 3 temples in a day is very nice and our prayer will be heard by them. We will get positive thinking of doing our routine work

This temple is one of the 8 temples in Tamilnadu where God Narasimha and godess Lakshmi (Amirthavalli thayar) gave darshan to Saptharishis after ahobilam after killing Hiranyakashibu saving pragalatha. This place is also called dakshina ahobilam. Here godess calms narasimha sitting on his lap seeing him and also devotees at same time. This temple was built by narasimha pallava where he was given darshan by saint narahari and God in leaf of poovarasan tree. It is situated around villupuram district. Very powerful God if you have opportunity do visit this temple and get blessings.

It was a wonderful experience. We traveled from Chennai to Villupuram in car. It was quite a journey and once we reach the temple, we could feel the divineness.

Also, it was one of the oldest and most powerful temple.

3 Narasimar temples were at one line in maps. Which were very much famous and lovable one to visit. Priority order to visit is 1. Singirigudi temple (God with Anger) 2. Poovarasan kuppam ( God at peace ). 3. Parikkal ( God with Blessings )

One can visit all these 3 temples in a same day by the above order.

All above 3 Narashimar temples were approximately 30 kms distance for each.

Very nice temple well maintained.Located in a village. Please follow the temple timings else you end of waiting for the temple inside a village without any facilities

Very divine temple. Very old remote village temple. Do spend sometime and always try to give dakshina to the temple poojaris. Avoid donating in the Hundi in any government administered temples! My sincere request!!

It is one of the most ancient temples built over time. Parking is available for both two wheelers and also for four wheelers if you have your own vehicles. The specialty of this Prathishta is that Goddess Lakshmi is observing the Lord out of her right eye, while blessing the devotees out of her left eye. A beautiful Vigraham of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha, with Goddess seated on his left lap, facing him. Called as Dakshina Ahobilam, this temple is believed to be the first place after Ahobilam, where Lord Narasimhar blessed Sapta Rishis with his Lakshmi Narasimha form - also belief is that if you're unable to visit Ahobilam, praying the Lord here is equal to visiting Ahobilam
