We just returned from a very short 4 days trip of Kumaon. We organised a car from Kathgodam Taxi and we got Harish as our designated driver. The car was really well maintained but the best part was our driver Harish. He is a very humble gentleman and he tries to make sure that you are comfortable. We were unlucky that weather was bad during our visit but Harish made sure that he is at our doorstep to pick us so we don't get wet.
I will have no hesitation in hiring them again.

Recently we visited Kumayun Himalaya and we hired a Innova crysta from Kathgodam Taxi Services for our 11 days Kumayun tour. Mr Nandan Singh was the driver of our cab. He is a nice fellow and highly professional with a very good driving skill. He was very polite and courteous person and he maid our trip very nice and just awesome. We always found the car neat and clean. We convey our thanks to Kathgodam Taxi Services and specially Mr Nandan for the best services. I ensure that in future I will avail the service from Kathgodam Taxi Services again and recommend in my friend circle also. We hired a taxi from Kathgodam Taxi services for a 4 day tour to Club Mahindra Binsar and surrounding places. Maybank, the owner , answered all my queries and gave a quote. The amount was about 20% more than was mentioned on their website but he said that the website had old information.

I paid the advance without any bargaining ( total ₹ 12k for a 4 day trip from Kathgodam to Binsar, surrounding areas and back).

Money well spent, I say now in retrospect.
Driver Prem Goswami, who showed us around became more like a friend. He was polite, prompt and drive carefully and very well.

Day 1 was spent driving 4.5 hours to CM, Binsar, with stops at Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal as well as Kaichi Dham.Prem was a guide who knew all the good eating places as well as local history.

Day 2 we went to the Binsar forest reserve. and The Kasar devi ridge, which affords magnificent views of the Himalayas

Day 3 saw us at The Kasar devi ridge, which affords magnificent views of the Himalayas and we went on to Jageswar Dham, one of the famous temple sites. Prem was helpful in assisting us to do the Rudrabhishek, even finding out the cost and other details.

We ended the trip at Kathgodam Station. Prem and his clean Taveras made sure we had a memorable trip. One of our best.
I sincerely recommend Kathgodam Taxi services and would use them again!

The service provided was very good. Nandan who was our assigned driver, was very kind and very knowledgeable about the region. All in all a great experience and will definitely reach out to them if I need to hire cabs in future

Found it on Google and wasn't sure about the quality. But I am satisfied. Our car stopped once while going to Mukteshwar from Kathgodam, which can happen to any machine. Next morning we found that it had been replaced. Our driver Nandanji was helpful and reliable. I hope to use their service again. Thanks 🙂

Timely information and excellent car (Toyota Innova Crysta) provided. Payment process was also hassle-free. Nandanji, the driver was very friendly, helpful and took good care. We wish to travel again with Kathgodam Taxi Service in future and are recommending them highly to others.

We had booked a car for 5 days to travel to Binsar and back. The car was good and the driver Krepalji was very friendly, homely and knowledgeable. The experience was wonderful and we hope to take their service again in the near future. We would recommend them to all who are coming to visit Kumaon.

From the day I found them through pure chance, till the day they dropped me at Kathgodam Station, the service provided was exemplary. Decent prices, no hidden charges, very clear communication, clean and well maintained car, and most importantly, well trained and polite drivers who make you feel safe... Excellent experience with them. For our 7 day trip across UK from 15th-22nd September, We got a Hyundai Xcent - inside pretty clean. Ran smoothly for our entire 7 days. I initially complained about tires not in good shape, but they reassured that it was good enough. Our driver - Prakash gets five star for driving skills, and knowledge of roads and alternatives. We couldn't go to Munshiyari because of landslide, but he brought us to Shitlakhet from Thal in half day - a great achievement on the hill roads. His off-road presence would be agreeable with most tourists, I guess. I would definitely use Kathgodam taxi service again.

The driver was professional and very polite. He was a very good driver. Overall experience was very good. We would love to book Kathgodam taxi again as we are planning a trip to Dorma Valley next year
