Moti Jheel Children Park

Moti Jheel, located in the Benajhabar area of Kanpur, behind the LLR hospital is a water storage spot as well as a great sightseeing point.

Moti Jheel also avails boating facilities with an array of street food stalls and toys sold at the entrance and within its premises.

There is no entrance fees most of the time, but some time you have to pay.

For kids below 5 years are free.

To enjoy the boat riding buy tickets from the ticket counter placed inside the park.

Paddle Bote 70/- per person
Steamer Boat 120/- per person
Motor Boat 160/- per person

Best time to visit:
In summer, prefer to go in evening after 5pm.
In winter's, its pleasent in sunny time.

Easy conveyance available round the clock to take you to this park. Moti Jheel metro station just adjacent to the main entrance. From here its just a walking distance or you can take E- Riksha to reach to the destination.

Perfect place to be there at any time. Very neat and clean. For children its very nice park to play. You can run, workout, walk, sit and talk, spend quality time with friends and family. Lake is clean and maintained properly. Vivekanand statue is point of attraction. A open gym is also there and I found most of the elders do morning workout and help each other. Few elders do yoga. So overall very nice and beautiful place I found in Kanpur and my stay is perfect because of this.

Decent place many events are organised here like Durga Puja , midnight Kara bazaar and some other religious gatherings so it's an enjoyable place with family given that there are events organised,well there is no restroom facility and parking is a big issue

An Incredible place surrounded with greenery scenes where several varieties of colorful plants were there. A great place to go for pleasurable experience especially with families and friends. Stress booster park I'd say because it relieves tension when you go there. There's also a great lake having different kind of fishes, turtles & snakes.
There's a beautiful buddha temple as well.

This children parrk is situated in famour motijheel chauraha. You and your children enjoy jhulas and boating hear also some little canteen provide food for you. Washroom is available here.

The breeze that blows across the Jheel is well liked and enjoyed by the morning and evening strollers. Musical Fountain is Tooo Awesome. It gives the feeling of foreign country. In night view feel like heaven. With family we go to Motijheel frequently , it's very nice & cool place, located in the heart of city , a must watch for everybody in Kanpur. Park, swings to play for young ones ,boating , every type of food we love to eat.

It was so amazing...the view is beautiful...and the best part is that you can also do boating there...it's specifically for children but adults and families can also visit no one would regret to visit there....

The Moti Jheel is also known as Kargil park. Parks have adventure like kids area, water sports, gym and many fun playing areas...

Actually I visited Tulsi Upvan for Light and Sound programme.It was nice and worth watching but sound was a little bit loud and due to lack of fans mosquitos were irritant

Nice place to hang out with friends. Moti Jheel is a major entertainment center of the city due to the flowers and ducks swimming in it. Here children like to play various games like cricket and badminton while common people come here for morning and evening walk on the walking path built around the lake.Moti Jheel literally means lake of pearls. During the British rule in India, this lake was constructed as a source of drinking water. Later it became a popular tourist destination of the city with a children's park and an artistically designed garden nearby. On one side of this rectangular lake is the Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital and other prominent buildings of the city such as the Municipal Committee, Kanpur. There is also a water treatment plant of the Development Authority.

We have created lots of memories of 2k19 first day with my sister and friend whole day was just bypass with full of enjoyment

This place is very peaceful. You can refresh here. Canteen is also available for light food.

Entry ticket is 25 Rs only.parking for two wheeler is 20 Rs & 4 wheeler is 40Rs.just at walking distance from motijheel metro station & K.D.A. Very beautiful & spacious park.your kids may enjoy a lot of activities here such as swinging different types, small jeep riding,toy train riding, kids car riding. Boating on duck shaped boats. Normal charges are approx. 50-60 Rs for each activity. 2-3 Cafeteria is there inside the park to enjoy fast food such as pizza, patties, sandwitch etc. You may see a lot of thelawalas, outside the park,selling chaat, toys etc. Very Good park to enjoy,your precious time with family, specially with kids.
