I am a person who relishes the calmness with pleasure and the riverfront called ‘Atal Ghat’ in Hindi helped me to find a new peaceful atmosphere. The only price that you have to pay is if you have reached there in your car or on a two-wheeled motorised vehicle (Indian rupees 30). The water is clear and almost transparent with no garbage around.
One of the best things about this riverfront is the fact that they do not charge money even if you are a foreign traveler.
The maintenance crew takes care of the environmental aura.

I recently visited this place. You can take blessing of ganga ji. Atal ghar is so beautiful and most clean that I ever seen. This place is not that much crowded you can peacefully enjoy with your family. Bathroom and washroom are available there. Parking are also available there. You can enjoy boating there. Thanks.

It is constructed at a bank of ganga river which is near to ganga bairaj bridge called atal ghat.
There is also space for parking cars and bikes as well.
Currently 15 rs are for bike parking.
Good place if you want to click pictures they got awesome background and if you want to hangout or heal yourself come here at on a common day bcoz in a weekend there is too much crowd here.
After all good place for roaming ang chilling.

Latest addition in Kanpur. Visit here for the best sunrise. It is neat and clean, with multiple options to take dip in Ganga river. It does have separate place for women to dive and worship Ganga ji. It does have parking space but limited, you can use main road corners for parking in case designated area is full. It is too calm and peaceful, you feel it from inside. If you visited Kanpur, it is a must place for you to visit. Opens at 5AM and recommend you to reach at 5 or 5:30 AM. Happy journey and have a great day ahead. Cheers

Best place for enjoy with our family & friends but It is not worth going on weekends, there will be a lot of traffic.

This place is Just awesome. Beautiful scene, well maintained park by the side of River GANGA. Free parking and toilet facilities are available. Though water supply goes out of order sometimes but over all this place is perfect for families and those who love peace, serenity and admire nature. In the evening under moonlight, it's beauty increases fourfold. Ganga barage bridge is also visible from here. There are changing rooms available for those who come for holy bath. Separate ghats for men and women available.

This place is made in the memory of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji at Ganga Bairan, Kanpur. It's a very nice place for tourist as well as for families and friend. Surrounding are very clean. I hope boating facilities will start as soon as possible. This place is also good for hangout with friends.

Beautiful picturesque view. Every Kanpurites must visit and support. Clean Ganga. Nicely maintained riverfront. Not crowded on a weekdays, easy car park. Paint is chipping off, and requires more maintenance. I suggest authorities to put an entry free, could be as little as 5 rupee so the place can be well maintained. Har Har Gange 🙏

Devine Ganga maa water is very neat and clean here.... Nice place for visit, washrooms, changing rooms, parking, boating facilities also available here, ... People can spend quality time with friends and family... Very safe place too..It's good place for pre wedding shoots. .. Very joyful place specially for children's... A Must Visit place... Loved it.

One of the cleanest and certainty the newest addition to the city under the category of "GHATS".!! Unfortunately people also remember this place as the very location where our current Honorable PM tripped during his visit. 😅 Nonetheless its a good place to hangout when the weather is nice specially during the Rainy season.

The view is amazing and I think some cafeteria or something like that can also be established near ghat so that people can enjoy tea/coffee near to the ghats

Kanpur was not having any ghat such like atal ghat its a place where you can hang out with your family friends, and can do a picnic. Its a safe clean beautiful place. Good initative by UP GOVT. Must visit
