Kamakhya Railway Junction is clean and big railway station at Maligaon Guwahati.

One of best experience of a railway station, so pleasant and very clean platform areas. Also the nature ambience just amazing, well managed by the authorities, waiting rooms are so well managed and cleaned time to time by the staffs. Also the other staffs are very helpful.

It's a small railway station, situated in maligaon....
It has parking area, and it has a separate parking area for physically disabled persons.... for waiting there is a huge area or lawn available and good tea option is there also.... Inside the station there is 2....3... Canteens also available so you can take a quick bite etc.......Keep it clean 🙏🏻 thanks

Very nice and clean.
I was traveling from Puri to kyq and i was looking for room. I thought I will get a room from outside. But i found out that there is a dormitory facilities available in this station. And it was available in reasonable price.
Dormitory 150 for 8 hours
If you want single private room thats about 600 may be.
Next to dormitory Jan ahaar restaurant is there. Food is not that good but they serve fresh n hot.

Kamakhya railway station is in kamakhya near guwhati, assam. Kamakhya is famous for kamakhya mata temple. Religious temple one of the shakti peth in hindu dharma. This railway station is look like new constructed. Enough parking area. Hill are around the station. Outer view of the station is attractive. Clean. Transportation are available out of kamakhya railway station.

The Kamakhya junction is very nice .. clear and clean but there is no facilities for passangers there train is late..but ovel all the station is good

Fairly clean and well working services than Guwahati railway station. Google WiFi gives good speed for downloading apps. Water vending machines are well working. Fewer trains starts from this station so foot count is low, booking ticket is hassle-free. Away from chaotic City road this station is not visible from city roads and newbies have to get help to locate the station.

This Place and this station improved a lot. Now it more beautiful from outside and they also maintained well for passengers in Inside. 90% of trains have a stoppage here.

Nice station, well maintained. Though the rush has increased, still it's coping up. Private rooms and dormitories are available but requires advance booking online from the irctc app. The charges are nominal. Guwahati station is just 10 minutes from the station and approximately 7 kms away.

Currently when you check-out from here, if u occupied with both 2 doses of vaccine, then u don't have to warry, but if u only take 1 dose then u have to go through for a test, which have huge queue outside of the station, and covid protocols followed here strictly, u will not be able to skip this process, and the view, the station is surrounded by hills, so whereever u see u will get the view of hills.

Kamakhya Railway Station is one the best option to deboard if you want to go to the south of Guwahati . The south of Guwahati is full of Universities and academic institutions also the Iconic Kamakhya Mandir is just walking distance away from the Railway station. The Platforms are very clean and the scenery which the station is surrounded is worth seeing.

The other major railway station in Guwahati located towards the end of the city.It is more convenient to board trains since there is less crowd and much space in the station due to renovation. Very clean and well maintained. Autos and Cabs are available. It is an important railway station at Guwahati. Many trains originates from this station. The waiting hall is enlarged at platform 4. There is another at platform 1. There is a new foodplaza just outside of platform 4. Pay and use toilets are available at platform 1 and 4. Iconic Kamakhya Mandir is just walking distance away from the Railway station.

Took the Lachit express from here to New Missamari, its neat and clean railway station with all modern facilities....new lift and elevators are going to be installed...all weather seating area, enough food stalls, parking at both side of station is available. Direct shared cab facilities to Guwahati Airport is available. Mostly all trains stop here...

One of the oldest and famous train station in assam . Atmosphere is good , a little nit hot . Environment is partially good and sorrounding areas are not clean
