Brahmaputra Riverfront

This is a wonderful location for Guwahati residents to spend time with family and friends. You can come here as a family or as a couple or a group of friends. The place is quite big so you will have plenty of places to explore, click pictures and enjoy the river vibes. Really crowded on Sundays. But it's worth a visit occasionally.

Good time pass area with majestic view of the river Brahmaputra. Entry fee on higher side .. hope they will issue combine tickets for Heritage and river front in future. Landscaping is beautifully done .. hope they will maintain it.

Brahmaputra Riverfront is one of the most beautiful Point ever visited. Its newly Inaugurated on 20Jan24

Also, The Padum Pukhuri is Preserved so beautifully. They didn't remove it.

I hope this Place is not destroyed. Also Request the Visiters not to litter🚮🚯 the Place. Keep it clean. Yesterday i saw, one family eating and they left the place dirty.

It's a beautiful park also known as brahmaputra riverfront as the name suggests it faces the river Brahmaputra and you can see the ferry and cruise ships plying through the river along with umananda temple lying in the middle of island in brahmaputra it has been recently opened in January 2024 so it's quite clean and well maintained besides there are places of rest as well you can sit on grass or either on those made near a small pond inside the riverfront and overall I had a good experience whenever I visit Guwahati again I will try to visit this place again and would even suggest it to my friends who are planning to visit Guwahati🌟🙌

The new inaugurated Brahmaputra Riverfront is nicely decorated throughout the bay of the river. Visit with ur friends and family and enjoy the nature.

One of Guwahati's premier attractions, the breathtaking vista of the majestic Brahmaputra River is truly mesmerizing. The riverfront is impeccably maintained, offering visitors a serene ambiance complemented by soothing meditation music playing continuously.

A nice place to spend your leisure hours. Price is 50/head. Roadside parking is available for motorcycles. I prefer visiting in the daylight as in evenings it becomes a place for only mosquitoes. Do carry a Odomos to repel mosquitoes if you are planning to visit in the evening. Otherwise a nice place.

Best place to have evening strolls and dates, the mighty brahmaputra and the river islands are clearly visible from the banks, there are seatings beside the lake and the river, one could engulf in deep thoughts or conversations while viewing the scenic beauty. Only request to the masses is to please not litter the place and keep it free from pan masala spit stains🙏. Although the place does not allow food and beverages, i could see people littering the place with cans and empty plastic bottles. 🙏

The Brahmaputra River is an iconic element in defining Guwahati’s identity. The Riverfront is located on the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra River and part of the central area of Guwahati. The sunset over the Brahmaputra is yet another charming and eye catching experience. The serenity of the place will just blow you away. But one should be carefull while going near the river as It brings a lot of debris from the above. On one side of the stretch, there are temples and the parking was given access from outside to be used by the temples and the stretch itself. Beyond the river were the beautiful mountains which made this area as one of the most famous viewpoints in the city for the tourists as well as locals to experience the river and the mountains together.

Nice place to spend with family and friends. Surrounding natural beauty of the river is just amazing. During summer we can have a wonderful time there.
