A religious place should bring peace and prosperity to the mind. This place surely did it for me. The architecture, the ambience, the decorations were pure bliss. Moreover, visiting time marks the visual satisfaction more accurately. We visited just before the closing time maybe. And thus, it was just about to be empty. We could enjoy each and every part of the beauty peacefully.

It is the jain temple dedicated to 15th tirthankar Shri dharamnath ji, having intricate carvings & having a very peaceful vibe right in middle of old Ahmedabad city.

Huthisingh Temple is a Jain temple in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was built in 1848 by Huthisingh family.

The temple blends the old Maru-Gurjara temple architectural style with the modern architectural elements of the haveli in its design.

The construction of the temple was originally planned and started by Huthisingh Kesarisingh, a wealthy businessman from Ahmedabad. After his death at the age of 49, the construction was supervised and completed by his wife Harkunwar.

Very serene place, a must visit when in Ahmedabad. We went in the morning around 9am and enjoyed being there. Sat down for a while on the chairs kept in the main temple while chanting was going on and it felt really good. The carvings in the temple are also very appreciable.
Few tips: This place is not very crowded. There is parking available in the temple complex itself and also there is place to keep your shoes just outside the temple. No strict dress cide, just don't wear very revealing clothes.

It is an amazing architecture, very fine & wonderful place. It's a compulsory visit Temple in Ahmedabad for its marvelous architecture and warm interior.

This is a very very special place. I had the privilege of visiting and entering the Hutheesing Jain Temple and the first step inside the gates, I felt a tranquility and calmness come over me. The architecture of the temple is absolutely stunning, so intricate and detailed. The sacred shrines inside are beautiful and so carefully respected and looked after. Treasure of Ahmedabad. Beautiful Jain Temple built about 175 years ago. A must visit place when you are in Ahmedabad. Easily accessible by auto or taxi.

Seth Hutheesing Kesarsinh, a prosperous 19th century Ahmedabad merchant, was the one who began the building of this very ornate stone temple in the mid-1800s; after his death, it was completed by his widow, Harkunwar.

To enter the temple, you have to take off your shoes and leave them on the racks outside. Inside the main shrine, even photography is not allowed. The temple building has profuse carving all over and a striking floor of inlay work in various colours. Small shrines with heavily gilded and bejewelled statues of the Jain tirthankars stand inside the main temple as well as in the corridors surrounding the courtyard in which the temple building stands.

Good temple to visit if you are in Ahmedabad, Ancient temple but premise is clean.

This is a Jain temple in Ahmedabad and most of the tourists gets attracted towards Hanuman Camp temple, Iskon temple, Gandhi Ashram and misses out this beautiful Jain temple. There is a 78 feet high Manastambha.

Beautiful place to visit. Beautiful spiritual place. Please visit this place in morning. Don't go to this place wearing shorts or half pant. Please try to wear Indian traditional dress in the temple. Photography is prohibited 🚫 inside the temple.

Amazing place exhibiting past glory and workmanship of Hinduism/Jainism . Easy to find and very clean and quiet place. Parking is available. Camera is not allowed inside . carving and temple is beautiful inside as well. One would need around couple hours to visit. There’s a exhibition as well explaining culture and history.

Very peaceful place to be in city. Amazing architecture to see. The temple place has stay facility as well. And a few car parking.

This is a Jain temple I visited during my Gujarat trip. There are very fine and intricate carvings and sculptures present all over the temple. Since photography inside temple premises is prohibited I couldn’t get any pics from inside, but one can see the kind of work from the pillar’s picture. It is good place to visit.
Would definitely recommend others to visit this place and witness the mesmerising sculpture and carvings.
