Earlier run by ngo and food provided for free but now they have started charging price around 300-350 per person for dinner..
Quality of the food was amazing..
Varieties are so much with full hygiene and good quality..
Ambience is so good and worth visiting..

This cafe is run by Navjivan trust. This trust foundation by Mahatma Gandhi is why each and every food item is prepared in puree ghee and in a natural process. In the evening you can take dinner outside the cafe in the natural atmosphere
Staff is very polite, Cafe is very clean and sufficient parking facility, wheelchair access is available
It's a good place for small group for the lunch or dinner

They provide Gandhi Thali on Friday Saturday and Sunday evening.

Food is fantastic and amazing. Pure food with pure things. Very hygiene and very tasty.

Place is decent. Seting arrangement is very proper.

You have to take token for food. And it's a self service process. Simple menu but tasty.

Indoor and outdoor seating arrangement is available.

They use pure and fresh things to make food and you will feel that in taste also.

Balanced taste, no more spicy no more sweet. Everything was very accurate and proper.

It's a place of peace in this noisy city culture.

If I have to describe a little thing about this place is positivity, hospitality, serenity, educational thoughts via surroundings of many different type of beliefs in shape aligned with karma. Such a spiritual atmosphere it was brought here. This place here provides services which focus on customer centricity rather than profit making motive indeed in such comparative market it is very unique way to make place in this beautiful heart of the Ahmedabad. Also there is the thing I personally want to mention that the name of this place reminds of word conception of Karma, Karma क्या है? सीधे शब्दों में कहें तो ये क्रिया की प्रतिक्रिया है.. चाहे वो अच्छी है या बुरी। Interception of ideological method moreover or less it is going to give hope in way of simplicity.
I was always keen to visit this place and also a foodie digs or smells the aroma of some Nutritious meal so basically I had to try their gandhi thali costing 200/- Unlimited [Everything which is included in menu] Changes every weekend Saturday and Sunday on evenings.
Totally Satvik food as I had there it was so much soothingly delightful. It was properly balanced and accurately significant.
As this place is popular amongst the enthusiastic people who want peace from this urbanised rush in view of that the food here is being made for 125 peoples, timings are 7-9 PM, First Come first serve basis. One must obtain tokens from counter for food. If you're going to take away then inform them via WhatsApp.
So far as ambiance is concerned it is very well organised they have arranged some musical event every weekend there was very exceptional experience to my visit aswell. Seating arrangements is quite decent indoors and outdoors, parking is huge and so far as other activities are concerned there are khadi stores, book shelf containing books is also placed if you want to read, Satya art gallery is there too.

The food quality and atmosphere was awesome....Food is very tasty...Along with this, you can also visit the navjivan press museum..

Unlimited thali is served with very good home made like food and a lot of variety.
Music is there which is esp. Gandhian based philosophical thoughts very melodious voice and musical instruments.

We visited karma cafe for the first time and it managed to meet our expectations in all aspects.

You feel peace in the atmosphere of the whole location. Seating is indoor and outdoor which was comfortable.

Everything is self service here. We had tea, suki bhel and paneer sandwich here. All things were freshly made and tasted so good. Definitely would love to visit it again.

The place serves amazingg chai and we also tried their bhakri pizza which was so different and a healthier version of pizza and so delicious!

Plus they also have a shop behind where you can ethnic wear and khadi stuffs. Loved it!

Cool and Costly Place. Self Service. You can have Lunch Breakfast and Dinner here. Both the AC seating and out side seating place. Food Quality and Quantity is good.

This place is simple but amazing! We didn't have time to make it here for a Gandhi thali (7pm-9pm on weekends) so we stopped by one afternoon. Had a bhakri pizza and rotli and aloo watana sabji, both of which were delicious. The photo gallery attached to the cafe has some exquisite clicks. The store is great too. One should try and grab a meal at Karma cafe during their trip to Amdavad! The outdoor seating is even better but one would have to visit on a cool day or in the evening for that.

It's a unique dining experience.food is served in eco friendly disposables, nd self service after taking passes. Food is traditional, tasty n balanced meal, would say unique again. It has library n museum attached to it also an ethnic wear shop having great collection of apparels.

We had heard a lot about this cafe, about the peaceful, warm ambience. So we visited it during our trip in Ahmedabad.
They were celebrating 5yr anniversary, so didn't charge anyone for their orders.
The ambience is peaceful, quiet and filled with warmth. Since it was a weekday, we couldn't try the Gandhi Thali (it's quite popular)
We had Masala Chai, biscuits and khakhra. Chai was perfect. They also have a exhibit of photos from and around 1930.
This cafe is located inside the Navjeevan Press, which was started by Gandhiji during his fight for freedom. U can see the typewriter, printing machine on display, and a lot of memorable pictures from that era.
It's an experience everyone should have. Highly Recommended.

Simple sober n superb. We have tried Gujarati full dish here. Ohhhh the test was sooooo good. Aloo paratha was also good.

If any Cafe is striving hard to be better, they must be aiming to be Karma Cafe. Amazing ambiance, it’s non commercial place though. Till few days back it was operating as Non Profit Cafe but we Indians have bad habit of leveraging things negatively which pushed this place to come up with prices for the selectable items. They are serving pure Gujarat dishes in dinner only on weekends.

Proper home made food vadi feel aape che aa jagiya! Very hygienic and tasty. Pocket friendly too! They have a book stack too. They have a store named Swatva Navjivan of clothes of Khadi(coz they follow Mahatma Gandhi). And they have an art gallery too which is based on Gandhiji's journey.
