A small view point where the pipes taking water away from Mullaperiyar dam towards Madurai is visible. The pipes are huge and are installed in British era. One has to be cautious while parking the vehicle and taking pictures as the road is pretty narrow and it is extremely risky and accident prone area.

We will be able to see a good view of the penstock pipe from here. Be cautious about parking the vehicle on the roadside as the road is a little narrow here.

From this point the view of Tamil Nadu is mind blowing.

If you are passing through this area its good to stop by and experience the beauty of this place.

Always be cautious about the vehicles passing by as the road is very narrow.

Beautiful views, from here we can see the beautiful fields of TamilNadu. It was an amazing construction, Forest area, aware of monkeys, the road is very narrow so we have to take extra care while standing there , try to park vehicles bit far to avoid traffic.

Mesmerizing view of Tamil Nadu from here. No parking area, so make sure you don't block the way while stopping for pictures. The route is quite busy with frequent buses and heavy vehicles. Mullaperiyar Penstock pipes are very closely visible from here.

Very beautiful view of Cumbum,Theni fields is pleasure to watch. Parking is bit difficult. Expect wild animals if at night.

This is the best place you can see the penstock pipes whic is used to take water from mullaperiyar reservoir to tamilnadu. At the bottom end you can see the power station and after power generation Tamilnadu use this water for irrigation purpose
