South Bopal Park

Rare public park in a city full of apartments, societies, bungalows, temples, restaurants and pan parlours..the most important aspect of the park is the walking track which is made of mud and is ideal for walking unlike the concrete surfaces which most other parks have..one full round of the track is about 300 metres..the park has quite a few medicinal plants, sitting areas and toilets.

Nice Garden with Jogging track, fountain etc.. Best for mornings walkers and senior citizens.

Great for the young kids to play Basketball, Also has Children Play area, Public Utilities like water and Washrooms are there.

Hope people should understand the value and help in maintaining good health of the park.

Its a small garden , with following amenities
1) Walking path specially made of gray hard clay
2) Sitting benches in 3 different situations
3) Basic play area for small kids.
4) Dedicated space for basketball /volleyball.
5) Fountain in the center and surrounding lawn area
6) Washroom for men & women.

Tranquil place to be... Quiet, serene and green... Has fountain.. Kids play area... There is a basketball court.... Washrooms and RO drinking water is available....Free-hand exercise equipments available... Closes at 10:40 pm... Carpet grass patches are there to sit... During evening times very light soothing music is played... Lighting is quite proper... Must visit..

It is a garden, recreation and sports centre managed by Bopal Ghuma municipality. Park is well maintained as for the tree, plants and lawn is concerned. Most trees and plants have label boards showing their local names and botanical names. There is good cleanliness around. There is basketball ground and time to time coaching is available, however one needs to do registration first for using basketball ground. Next to basketball ground is a exercise facility available where pull-up bars, twister, shoulder wheel etc are available. There is mud-paved wide walking/running track around the park. Along the track there are few shaded resting places.

Serene nice new park, opened fo4 public very recently. The vendors camping outside were removed to make the visitors experience better. This was a much needed park for the residents of south bopal
