This place is just awesome and calls you back again and again. This was my third visit and of course it didn’t fall short of expectations. Terrific location with clean rooms and toilets and tasty food. Host Manuj Ji goes out of the way to make you comfortable. Hope to come back soon to H2O house.

I had an amazing stay at this home stay near the river. The host family was very hospitable and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The location was picturesque and the sound of the river flowing by was very calming. The rooms were clean, comfortable and offered a great view of the river. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

The Manager Vikas was extremely helpful and so welcoming. He made sure that we get hot food the moment we reached and gave us room right above the waterfall 💖💖

H2O house is a such a special and unique place in chamba valley, one of the most amazing places i've ever stayed in while traveling in the indian himalayas. it is part of the notonmap initiative to promote tourism in remote and off the beaten track areas by creating whole eco-systems which help the local community and respect nature through the use of tourism. manuj, vikas and the rest of the crew are doing an amazing job implementing this vision in chaminoo village quite near chamba town and the result in an enchanting and peaceful guesthouse.
it is located just near a beautiful river and there are so many different spots where you can just sit and chill in the midst of the woods and the sound of flowing water. there's also a really good restaurant, a cute cafe near the the river itself and a place which host local art.
apart from the main rooms which are not oriented towards the budget traveler they also intend to provide budget accommodation in the real near future, not only in the guesthouse itself but also in different family houses in the village, so that backpackers and other travelers on a budget can come and be part of it.
overall an amazing and recommended experience to all those who look to enjoy nature, have fun and learn something about the chamba valley and its local people

If there is one place on earth, where one should go, it is this place.
Our room was next to river, and the sound of it, and morning sound of cuckoos made our day extremely pleasant.
We met Vikas, who is a great friendly person and he manages to create a homely atmosphere here.
The pleasing sound of river flow, relaxed mind of any iota of tensions in life.
Suman, took us for a beautiful, natural trek to a Vishnu temple, and then took us to her home for food cooked on chulha.
Tanu is a great cook, and he took extra care to provide us pure vegetarian food without onion-garlic.
On our request, a special candle light dinner with Karaoke songs was done by Mr. Vikas and team.
I just wish that they would continue this customer care as a family member for any guests that come here.
Jyoti, the Desi monalisa, took us to another trek, which was again a great walk.
Sonu, another villager, became our guide at chamba city.
NOM, is a true social entrepreneurial venture, looking after the Chaminoo villagers.
I wish NOM a great success in years to come.

I stayed there for 2 nights, couple of days back. It's must visit place for persons bitten by nature bug. It's in lap of nature with stream flowing through the resort. Surinder and cook are amazing. Their hospitality is par excellence. Manu and his team took every effort to make our stay comfortable. It was bit humid in July but these guys provided cooler and extra fan without charging anything. Food is so cheap and yummy.
Must visit but keep weather in mind.

Stunning location (you stay on a 700 year old water flour mill), amazing people (service is personal and caring whether by Surinder (always attentive) or an evening with Ms. Renu
- the owners, fantastic idea (to share the fruits of development with the entire community) and great food (local and made with love) - mix all the above ingredients and you get this home stay / resort.
Our family had some very pleasant and wonderful times during our stay.
So do stay there (would suggest minimum 2 nights) if you like peace, tranquility and enjoy putting your feet in the pure waters of the mountains - a stream flows right through the homestay! - and many such experiences to rejuvenate the heart and soul.

Amazing place in the lap of nature. Located in a village, beautiful vintage property. Courteous staff and delicious food. A small river flows just next to it, mountains view and a garden to relax. The concept is awesome for those who want a break from chaotic, artificial and stressful city life.

Very peaceful place to spend time in the lap of nature . Old school type mud houses , beautifully placed water stream in between of cafe area . Food is very good . Location is away from the hustle of city life.

A really good place near the beautiful city of Chamba ! The rooms were cozy and pleasant. The best part is the river that flows below the rooms and connects to it’s mainstream at the hotel’s backyard. The staff especially Mr. Vikas made it feel like home. I absolutely recommend this place to all who want a generous place to stay amid refreshing gardens !

First of all the property is really awesome and the services are too. Staff is really cooperative and always on duty.. they take care of their guests in a very professional manner. The whole property is situated near river and it is heaven. I booked it for my parents and they really enjoyed their stay. Must visit place.

This is an absolutely excellent place located remotely by a beautiful stream which makes it a perfect setting to unwind amidst nature. The rustic cottages further add to the ambience. Magandeep, Vikas and their team make sure your stay is made comfortable. The local delicacies they serve are to die for... especially the madra. We loved their concept of community village and the village tour they organize. Would surely love to visit again.
