I would like to suggest to the new one to visit sagar university who one is visiting sagar district for the first time .

Dr. Harisingh Gour University formerly Known as Sagar University was established in the year 1946. It is a central university and is the oldest university in Madhya Pradesh. It offers a variety of courses in the field of arts, science, engineering, journalism at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of entrance test conducted at the university level.

Good campus but facilities not according to central university all things are old, no one is here to resolve the problems of the students ... If administration work positively and according to change.. they make campus better and this is also good for students .....

The hub of knowledge "DHSGSU". There is a very beautiful and peaceful atmosphere here, this university situated in the lap of nature gives a spiritual atmosphere to the students.

The main campus of the university is in Sagar City on Patharia hills, sprawling over 830.3 hectares of land, and the university also has several affiliated colleges and a distance education wing. A medical college is being built to train students in medical science.👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌😍

This university was known as sagar university earlier but later named after the name of founder Dr. Sir Harisingh Gour who found this university with his personal savings in 1946 .this was the 18th university of India and is oldest university of Madhya Pradesh. It's total student capacity is 3600 .

I am confused that how to describe this huge place in few words.
If you would like to know about this place you will have to visit and observe everything.
I am also a student of this university. Rules and regulations are well developed, recently new vice chancellor has appointed so she is doing new advanced and initiative steps. This is best college for higher education.

It's a Central University founded by Dr Harisingh Gour former VC of Delhi University in the year 1946 by donating all his worth. The university was established by Dr Gour's money which was 20 lacs in 1946. He was honoured by British Raj by 'Sir' title. He was active member of the Constitution Committee and was a prominent lawyer of CP & Brar of Central India. He wrote many law books and is still quoted in law verdicts. He wrote 'Seven lives' which is very popular amongst the scholars. He was Hero of Bundelkhand.

It's a first university of Madhya Pradesh and well reputed in the field of study and it has very beautiful campus and students can study those subject which are not available at other universities like forensic science, geology and criminology.
