For one time visit the place is worth it .You have to climb almost 3km to reach the highest point of odisha.The view is just awesome.The cool wind and the peace the place holds is unreal . One must require a hotel that is missing there , the place was too good .

Good place and safe with family and friends also ticket price was 10 RS per person......

If you are planning to have a night stay then you have to bring own tent ⛺ and campfire 🔥 and food and water ..... nothing will be there in the hills again you have to travel 20km soo be cautious about it....... everything was fine sun rise was extraordinary ☺ at nights the climate goes to 16° 🥶🌨

Just wowww !!! Feels like heaven on the peak of the mountain. It's the highest peak point of Odisha. You will feel a little bit of trouble breathing while climbing to the top but you will definitely enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Great place to visit. You can also do camping and stay there overnight. You will definitely enjoy nature.

One of the beautiful and mesmerizing view you can get. So much safer for camping and hiking. I hope the government of Odish do some infrastructure development as to promote tourism more and more. Atleast once you should visit it. Dumping some photos of my trip hope you like it

Odisha highest point

Deomali is odisha's highest peak. It stands tall over 1600 metres. This was my second visit, first on a motorbike and second on a jeep. The entire feature is motorable. If you decide to go to the end of the road, there is a small walk of 40 mins (one way). There is no trekking organised. There are no rooms at the moment, you can camp anywhere on the 3km road. Tents are also available for rent. The best is to carry a tent and a sleeping bag with you. It does get windy and the temperature drops very fast. So please carry a jacket, smurf and a cap. Wherever you camp or sir, kindly look around as there are broken glasses everywhere. Water and food are not easily available. So best is to be self sufficient. If you want a good sunrise, look out for the weather reports or else you would sometimes wait till 10am for the sun. The roads to the deomali entrance are great. They charge fees depending on your vehicle/ activity chosen. Speak at the entrance and you will have an idea, the cost is very less. There are multiple ways to reach deomali. You can also club it with a large number of waterfalls, choice is yours. I was planning initially to do this first prior to reaching semliguda, but I crossed it at nearly 2pm. So, I decided to not do it then as it would become dark and i would not be able to explore much. I drove to deomali, on my way back from semliguda. I took a left turn from kundli(15km from semliguda, directions are marked everywhere to deomali). After this, the next left is approx at 32km (from semliguda). You cannot miss this as it says WELCOME TO DEOMALI. The entrance is roughly 6km from here. The deomali's final top is 3km from the entrance. Washroom facilities are v

Recently I had gone to this beautiful peak oftern called as the highest peak of odisha. I was just mesmerized by the aura and serenity of the place. Deomali is the highest mountain of Odisha, what should I tell about it, go and see it friend, later tell me how you liked it, you can call it heaven, that's all I will tell you, rest go and feel it yourself.

In rainy weather we visited deomali by bike ride from bhubaneswar... very exciting experience and thrill experience...must visit ...best place for camping.....shops are available for emergency things ...medicine may not be available

It felt like stepping into heaven when I reached the top. Surrounded by fog all around myself it was hell of a thrilling experience.

I was literally freezing 🥶 always heard about the place but when I knew it was on our way back from Chattisgarh to Vizag didn't miss a chance to visit we arrived around 4:45 PM as we headed towards the peak points the breeze got colder... For a reason this is one of the highest peaks of eastern ghats and also named as the highest peaks of Orissa. Also kudos to the Orissa government for not commercialising it like other cities to mint money. Felt like a truly untouched place. Here and there you see people. Crossing villages, passing by the cattle herds. This was also one moment where I felt close to the sky... Must visit and highly recommend during December 2nd and 3rd weeks during the weekdays if you truly want to feel special... 🫶🏼🧿 Only one request to fellow humans travelling we are divided by regions yet we are all humans. Let's not let other species curse us for our existence. Humbly request you NOT TO LITTER THE PLACE. Please dispose the waste using your common sense by carrying them back with you and make use of the bins. As long as we do not litter the governments interference will be minimum and everyone including our next generations can enjoy the nature.

Its is the 1st highest altotude place in orissa .
Good and cool climate and whether.
Most of the tourists like to see morning sunrice and also evening as same.
But food water not available at near .
These small neccesities brought from own .
Really nice place

we bring the camping items from the Similiguda and started our journey to Deomali at night itself.😎

is one kind of Insane you can say.
adventure is like wow . around 11 o'clock you entered the Forest range Deomali hill top .

The fees is reasonable like 200 only.
who started to make the camp and stay night to see the sunrise.☺
But the in the morning its seen all cloudy in nature . 🫣
we spend a 10- 12 hr in the top of yhe Hill to enjoy adventurous Rainey session on Deomali . ☺
we captured and record a bunch of pictures and videos .
Definitely recommend for treaking and hill station view.

Beautiful place... Nice scenery.... I went there at 2pm... Sun was at it's peak... Still I didn't feel hectic.. There was a powerful wind flow which was really awesome and relaxing that I stayed there for more than 1hr...I Suggest you to go there... Worth it👌

Deomali, the highest peak of Odisha, is a beautiful destination with stunning scenery around the hill.

While the government could do more to develop the area, it is still worth a visit for those who enjoy nature and hiking.

The mountain peak is located in the Chandragiri-Pottangi subrange of the Eastern Ghats, and it is near Koraput town in the Koraput district of Odisha.

The area is also home to unique flora and fauna, such as the recently discovered frog species, Fejervarya deomolica, described from the Deomali Hill range of southern Odisha, in Eastern Ghats.
