Mata Kaushalya mandir

A small temple with a large statue of Lord Ram at entrance. Lots of development work ongoing to make it a happening place by CG tourism. A peaceful place you can spend time with friends and family. Unique ambience during Sunset timing as the temple is surrounded by a water reservoir 🙂.

We purposely went in the evening as to explore the place in lights and it was a divine experience.beautifully built with nice aesthetics over and around water body with lighting arrangements.the temple resides at the centre of Mata KAUSHALYA with lord SHREE RAM in her lap.sacred ambience and you can also feed the turtles in the water which is a different feeling.the temple remain open till 8.00 pm.a must visit place.from Raipur it hardly takes 45 min to reach the temple however the roads in some part are under construction

I love the place. This place is situated in Chhattisgarh. The ancient name of Chhattisgarh was Kosala. The temple of Kaushalya, the mother of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram, being the only temple in this land of wind, is not only a rarity in the whole of India, but it is also a proud identity of the state of Chhattisgarh. In the sanctum sanctorum of this temple, the adorable idol of Lord Shri Ram as a child in the lap of Maa Kaushalya fascinates the devotees and devotees.

Wonderful place with a religious history.
The place apart from being a religious temple and history also has peaceful natural surroundings, temple is surrounded by lake and is well lit in the night.

It is located about 20 kilometers from the Swami vivekananda Airport at Raipur in the village of Chandrakhuri which is maternal village of Shri Ram ji and village where Mata kaushalya was born. Temple is serene, located in the middle of Lake called Kshir Sagar. Cleanliness is nice and proper road is being developed including shri Ram van gaman marg and parikrama marg on the outskirts. Other amenities for visitors are being developed by the govt as well. Shri ram temple in the village is also being renovated which is about 1 km from the Kaushalya Mata mandir. Chhatisgarh govt is doing efforts in developing tourism around the religious places where shri ram visited once.

Best Place to visit with your families & friends. In evening it looks more beautiful.

Rama

The temple has the idol of Mata Kaushalya holding Lord Shri Ram in her lap. The temple is believed to have been constructed in the 8th century.. In 2020, the temple was renovated.

This place has a historical background. This is the birth place of Mata Kaushalya, mother of Prabhu Shri Ram. The place is now nicely developed.

Maa Kaushalya Mata Mandir situated,Village Chandrakhuri which Is 22 km from Raipur city,the temple is very popular and lot's o Devotees are come and get the bless of Maa Kaushalya,is also known of Lord Shri Ram Nanihal,In evening the Place are looking very beautiful because of Lighting system,such a wonderful place in Chhatisgarh Raipur.

It is one of those under rated destinations near Raipur, where you dont need a pre planned plan to visit. A casual long drive from Raipur will land you to this beautiful destination ahead of Nardha. Let me add something , if the weather is pleasant like it was for us then its an added bonus. A must visit place I wud say if you are a Insta person, good for some amazing clicks!

This temple is a symbol of peace. when you come here, come in the evening because as much tension, anger and sorrow will disappear.

New temple on roads of making. Place is good 👍 , Atmosphere is also good & natures. Lord ram not look good making in panic. Temple on pond is good idea, must visti showing here lord ram and there family. Father, brother, mother & brothers. It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.

Very peaceful place road for temple is also maintained but only when u take vidhan sabha road mandir hasaod road is damaged

Holy place. Its said to be only temple in india. 51 feet long statue of Lord Shri Ram is very well build. You will get to see samundra manthan which is well depicted through idols
