Was an avid reader and a frequent visitor during my stay in prayagraj. English and hindi newspapers and magazines and some books were available for free. I also took subscription of the library at one point and had taken some of the books on polity and history to my home and loved reading those. During my childhood i loved bal hans and champak. I also glanced over some magazines that you aren't supposed to look at during your childhood😂. During summer the premises still stayed cool from inside even without any AC. Libararian uncle was very kind. Will visit someday again❤

Best place to visit, i used to visit there when I was a kid and now for my studies the most fascinating thing about this place is, it is in the most busiest market of Prayagraj still it has silence and the old bookish odour this library is best..

The library was founded by my great grandfather Pt Balkrishna Bhatt . He the very well known hindi essayist is the main person who intended first to establish a rich library. Verily This is a very rich library .

Very nice and well discipline good atmosphere for study's. All staff are very coporated and helpful.

The Building forms a great backdrop to a square. The building was documented by KRIVA Mumbai students in 2014. Documentations are available at KRIVA Library.
