This is the fortress of Bengaluru FC football club. We get to witness the magic of football from the stands at this stadium.

I have been following BFC play for a very long time. Watching them play here at the Sri Kanteerva Stadium is magical.

BFC boasts of a strong squad with Sunjl Chettri leading from the front.

Watching BFC win here has always been fun.

We have different stands. JSW box stand is the most expensive and best stand.

Other good stands are the VIP A, B and C.

Hop on to the Sri Kanteerva Stadium to witness some good football action.

Karnapex-2024,a State level Philatelic Exhibition from 5th to 8th of this month was held with much fanfare in Sri Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore.It was a successful event with large number of exhibits and attended by a huge crowd of enthusiastic stamp lovers.Kudos to the Organisers for the wonderful arrangements

Delighted with the convenient parking space, my experience was further enhanced by the exhilarating Kabbadi match. The accessibility of the parking area added a positive note, while the thrilling game made the entire experience truly enjoyable.

Owned by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka, the Sri Kanteerava Stadium is the largest sporting complex in Bangalore. The stadium offers more than just football matches. It features a running track, a volleyball court, and two outdoor rock climbing walls, providing a variety of sporting activities for visitors to enjoy.

Originally inaugurated in 1946 by Maharaja Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, the stadium was constructed on the bed of the Sampangi Lake. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations and improvements. The central arena boasts an eight-lane 400-metre synthetic athletic track, ideal for track and field events such as Shotput, Discuss, Javelin, Hammer throws, long jump, high jump, triple jump, and pole vault. The stadium caters to a wide range of sporting disciplines, making it a hub for athletes and enthusiasts alike.

Apart from hosting sporting events, it is also a versatile venue for other activities. It accommodates events like walkathons, filmmaking, rallies, and exhibitions, showcasing its versatility and ability to cater to various interests within the community.

The stadium's architectural design is both impressive and functional. With large entrances leading to the inner field and lower spectator stands, accessing the stadium is convenient. Additionally, there are eight ramps providing access to the upper stands, ensuring that spectators can move around easily. In total, there are 12 gates available for the convenience of visitors.

It is a nice stadium which will multiple games at one spot and it was well maintained. It has good seating facility. Location Is very good. The food corner & restaurent inside the stadium is very good & neat & clean!

5 stars only for the atmosphere created by the West Block BLUES during the SAFF championship 2023, which is when I went.

Otherwise the stadium doesn't feel like it is a stadium of a big city like Bangalore. Either money is not allocated for renovations and repairs or systemic corruption is apparent.

Right from the gallery seating areas to the toilets, it reeks of negligence and apathy; certainly not what our athletes deserve.

Beautiful ground,seating was wonderful me and my friends went to watch a football game between Bengalore fc vs Mumbai city fc. In that Bfc won the match and went to the finals, the atmosphere in the ground was wonderful. The tickets are far price it cost me 200 rs per head in North upper stand which has good view point in this prize range. Price varies depending on the stands you choose.

Good place for morning walk.

Amazing experience. The audience are very cheerful and jovial. The waste management and water logging system should be improved. Other than that its amazing.

It's too big a stadium for football and other athletic sports, exactly the facilities are present with TT and rockclimbing coaching

A wonderful place to participate in various marathons and 10k runs in Bangalore. Best facilities. If you are a BFC fan and love football, you'll have an amazing match day experience.

Kannada , Karnataka and Bengaluru FC - vibes inside the stadium is electrifying! West block blues and their chants really lit up the stadium. Below videos are from the semis between BFC and MCFC which went to death penalties. One of the craziest match I have witnessed. How can both teams score 8 penalty goals each! Surreal! Somehow Sandhu stopped the next one and Bingham went on netting the next one and yes BFC won in the end!

Went for ISL match. Crowd was so lively. The support for BFC is incredible. Seating needs a upgrade.

Talking only about BFC matches. The energy of the crowd takes the game to next level. Especially in the west block its "one of a kind experience" in the city.
CAUTION : if you have a kid along goto to another stand like vip stands, but most definitely not to west block as the language isnt a child would want to learn.
Parking: remember where you have parked. Getting out is slow but ok.
Getting a cab back home will be a prob so try walking to mg road via coffe day square from the stadium.

The Kantirav Stadium clearly stands out with its impressive facilities. The architecture echoes a modern vibe but retains the charm of a traditional sports arena. It has ample seating capacity which allows comfortable viewing. Staff is friendly and the ambiance is truly energetic. It's a fine venue that extends beyond just hosting sports events. The cleanliness of the premises deserves a mention too. I had a decently good time here. Recommended spending your leisure time at Kantirav stadium.
