Main temple has stone impressions of God Vishnu's feet. Only in the evening are they uncovered, visible so devotees can touch. In the mornings they are covered in rice balls which pilgrims keep here as offerings for departed ancestors and other souls.
Depositing mobiles in lockers is compulsory.

It's so peaceful and bliss visiting this temple. There is no idol but the food print of Lord Vishnu and it's enough to gain peace and happiness when we touch the divine spot. Crowded on weekends but must visit.

Vishnupad Mandir is called so as it is believed to feature a 40 cm long footprint of Lord Vishnu in a basalt rock. As the story goes, Lord Vishnu killed demon Gayasur at this place by stamping his foot on his chest.
Ancient Vishnu temple along the Falgu (Phalgu) river.

The temple architecture is worth witnessing and it displays ancient Indian styles. The footprint of lords Vishnu is adorned with precious metal and flowers.
Devotees touch their forehead to the footprint, believing it will bring good luck and happiness. The best time to visit is in the evening when you can see the paad of lord Vishnu.

Very nice place.bishnu vogoban finger print is here. There are so many temple around the bishnumondir, seta kungu, sabitri Mountain, etc.. This Temple is another famous piece of architecture in Gaya that is of prime religious significance for Hindus. As the name suggests, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is marked by his footprint, which is also known as Dharmasila. Located on the banks of the Falgu River, the temple’s construction time is unknown but legend has it that Lord Rama visited here once with his wife Goddess Sita. The structure that we see now was restored by Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, ruler of Indore, in 1787.
Inside the temple, one can see the 40 cm long footprint of Lord Vishnu imprinted on solid rock. According to Hindu mythology, this footprint marks the act of Vishnu demolishing the realm of a demon called Gayasur by placing his foot on demon’s head. Those interested in admiring the breathtaking top view of the temple can mount 1000 stone steps leading to the top of the Brahmajuni Hill, just a kilometre southwest of the temple. From atop the hill, visitors can enjoy some magnificent views of the Vishnupad Templ

This temple is dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu. In this temple one can enter the garbhagriha directly. No huge lines or VIP lines are there, at least I have not witnessed that.
The main objective of worship here is the footprint of Bhagavan Vishnu.

The temple's main function is to felicitate people to complete the last rites of relatives as Hindu scripture highlights the temple as a sacred spot. You will need a strong stomach to get through the complex as there will be people performing mass ceremonies and poojas throughout.

The temple architecture is worth witnessing and it displayed ancient Indian styles.

Phones and other devices will have to be locked outside in paid lockers.
