One of the best university i have ever seen. Huge campus with great infrastructure. Proper nourishing is required.

This is one of the best Central University in India. From in campus Bank to ATM, Play ground,Temple, Library a lot of facilities available here. Separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities are available. U can get wi- fi in both hostels and classrooms. A small market is there within 1.5 km.

Infrastructure of this college is awesome and still developing. It is Located 16 km far from Gaya city and difficult to find any restaurant nearby.

A heaven come dream place for all students. It's a situated at Gaya-Tekari road (SH-53). Such a nice and beautiful campus with newly infrastructure and greenery.

Hello there! I am a student of MSc Physics in CUSB, Gaya for the session 2018-20. The following are the highlights of the university:

And all courses are at nominal prices like ~ for BSc & BA BEd courses it is only approx 60000/ for four years.

All infrastructure are modern.
In very few years of opening this university has achieved so much achievements and glory.

Campus is very beautiful. But due to climate condition it was not easy to survival area for other states students. Mostly, Faculties of campus were highly qualified as well as experienced and helpfull.

The campus pf University is spread in large area. Very neat and clean place.located outside from the city. Natural scene based campus.

This a NAAC accredited A central university. It is running undergraduate, graduate and PhD programme in various subjects. It has 25 departments in total. It has a good quality library, it has also boys and girls hostel facilities. Students progression rate in academics and in the industry is very impressive. You can get admission here through CUET.

Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is one of the sixteen newly established Central Universities by the Government of India under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Section 25 of 2009).[2] The university is located at Panchanpur, Gaya, India.[3] On 27 February 2014, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar laid the foundation stone for the permanent campus in Gaya.[4] When completed, it will be spread in a 300-acre campus at Panchanpur. Currently further construction is ongoing. Dr. C. P. Thakur is now the newly appointed Chancellor by President of India. CUSB is NAAC Accredited 'A' grade university.

The president of India is the visitor of the university.[citation needed] The chancellor is the ceremonial head of the university, while the executive powers rest with the vice-chancellor. The court, the executive council, the academic council, the board of studies and the finance committee are the administrative authorities of the university.

The University Court is the supreme authority of the university and has the power to review, the broad policies and programmes of the university and to suggest measures for the improvement and development of the university; the executive council is the highest executive body of the university. The academic council is the highest academic body of the university and is responsible for the co-ordination and exercising general supervision over the academic policies of the university. It has the right to advise the executive council on all academic matters. The finance committee is responsible for recommending financial policies, goals, and budgets. [5]

The first chancellor is Meira Kumar, former Speaker of the Lok Sabha. H.C.S. Rathore is the vice-chancellor.[6]

Admission used to be through (CUCET)which is held by NTA, and in addition, in some cases, interview or group discussion.[7] Now the university conducts an all India common entrance test re-christened as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), across cities in India at viable examination centres.
