Very nice little restaurant run by very friendly elderly couple. Very fair prices for all food and drinks. Had the fish thali, also came back next morning for the Ross omelet

Cozy place with home style goan food, one of the only such places still around. Maria has been running her place for decades, earlier in palolem. The vegetarian food is great, I recommend the thali, dosa, pav bhaji

Talk to her if you have any special requests or want to understand the menu better. Friendly people. The space itself is humble not fancy, but that's just what you need often!

Cute authentic Goan cafe that as well as delicious cheap home cooked food comes with the warmest smiles and welcome. I discovered Ras Omelette here... A Goan omelette with Xacuti gravy that you don't see in the majority of restaurants

Very glad we stumbled upon Maria’s place one evening after many disappointing and overpriced meals on the beachfront. This is delicious home cooking served with a smile and at v good prices. Went back the next morning and equally as happy with our breakfast dosa.

Simple food with lovely taste and lots of love from Maria aunty.
We had rus omellet and for dinner we came back in the evening and had fish thali. Rates were very reasonable for the efforts aunty puts in.

Very happy we found his place, it both boosted the authentic food experience and also saved our wallets. Maria and Micheal are kind and loving and if you're looking for real Indian home style food this is the place! This place quickly became out favourite after 2 meals. We noticed early on the trip that expensive places here did not equal better food. I hope you try it out instead of getting caught in expensive beach restaurants. Not only to taste her food, but also to support some local business!

We enjoy the tasty food and the nice atmosphere. The Thali comes every day with different choices so its really interesting and allowing us to learn Bout new dishes.

They are open and just off the corner across from chai shop and chim boutique. Delicious, home cooked veg thali for lunch. They are so sweet and friendly, we will definitely go again.

Excellent food and experience both times we visited. We had the fish thali and the stuffed mackerel one night and then the 2 veg thalis on the next visit. Very friendly couple who run it, really want you to have a great experience. Would highly recommend! We heard the breakfasts are excellent too 😊

We eat here almost every day. The food is very tasty, affordable prices and big smile. It is also very pleasant as the wind keep blowing even during the hot hours.

This is the best place to try local food! Maria and Michael have a diverse menu with variety of alternatives for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
They are very helpful and friendly and make feel at home immediately.
They also rent a big room with own bathroom and the place is very close to the beach.

This is proper home cooked Goan food, homemade masalas by the ultimate Aunty Maria who by the end of the meal will feel like your own Aunty. Always ask for what she’s cooked that day and what’s not on the menu and see what delicious treasures come out of her kitchen.

Unassuming little place serving lovely home cooked goan food. For people staying longer than a couple of days, u could easily make this your daily dining spot (considering all other options esp shacks are way too pricey)

The only delicious food you ll get in South Goa in palolem is in Cafe Maria.there are multiple restaurants in palolem but don't miss out on this one if you want to spend great time & have great food.
