This location is fantastic, offering a pleasant ambiance and an ideal setting for watching the sunset. The environment is very tranquil & the music playlists several days in a row were were complementary to the atmosphere. We used to sit on a specific table and the next day we arrived the person remembered where we sat and offered us to sit on the exact same place. Small detail but shows h the attentiveness. The food as well as the service are wonderful, and the pricing is fair for a place right on the beach.

One of the best beach restaurants I have been to in South Goa, the food is definitely the highlight but the weekend activities here are the highlight of the place. The owner and staff are very friendly which gives the overall place a happy vibe. If you are in the area you can visit the restaurant and eat, chill, take a swim, play volleyball and get yourself a drink by Amir bhai.

The dream team - Mamon, Bibas and Raj - lead by The Man With the Winning Smile, Amir, are always on hand to deliver 5 Star service, amazing cocktails and outstanding food. The location is set on the stunning Agonda beach with unbeatable views of the sea and is most perfect at sunset time. It is hard to choose a favourite dish from the menu as everything we have eaten, from paratha to sesame chicken, vegetable masala to the chocolate brownie, has all been excellent. The food is fresh, arrives hot and is always outstanding in flavour. Thank you Serena By The Sea team for your unbeatable hospitality and food. We can’t wait to come back! Cheers!

Once in you visit this place and spend a meal and some hours, i doubt you will like any other beach shack in whole of Agonda. Located on The most peaceful corner of Agonda, this place is the most relaxed of all. The vibes are extremely chill, the views are just perfect, you hear only waves crashing. You also have the lovely company of the so many pet dogs of the property. The food is amazing, drinks decent and the crowd pretty cool. They keep having small events every now and then.

Love the place. Good place to end your day in agonda. Staff was very attentive. Music was great. We ordered tandoori hariyali chicken, tandoori pomfret and tiramasu on staff's recommendation. All of them tasted delicious. Presentation was excellent. Chef here really cares about food he/she is serving.

The owner/manager is absolutely gem of a person. They have humble and friendly staff. Raj served us tonight for a great dinner. The food was amazing, Goan feni based cocktails were outstanding and the staff was extremely responsive. All in all, a must visit restro-bar for anyone including families with kids.

So content to be back with great friends in this beautiful spot. Always a welcoming vibe from Asim and Vinnie. The food is the best in Agonda and Palolem. Newly relocated to the Oxygen resort, which is opening imminently, Serena is open for great regional and international dishes. Spent 5 weeks in and out of here in 2022 while attending my yoga teacher training in Agonda. Returning now is like catching up with family. A real gem, don’t miss it.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in Agonda. Amazing ocean view and delicious food. Usually I order international food here, the chef makes it really good. The cheese stuffed mushroom is a must try !
The vibe is always very positive and chill. If you like board games and chess this definitely a place for you.

FOOD- food is too good at the price point. Definitely try their cocktails, they are simply great! No words for the cocktails, loved it!

SERVICE- the guy who served was very polite, suggested to us what we should try and we really liked the suggestions.

AMBIENCE- you'll hear the beach shore if you visit at night, peaceful!

The cosmopolitan had just the right balance and coolness for the Goan sun.

This place is great. It has a nice vibe and is a great spot to watch the sun set. The atmosphere is really chilled and they often play a good selection of music.
Food and service are really good as well and the prices are reasonable.

Writing this review after my 3rd visit to South Goa. I stayed at the Royal Agonda resort for 7 nights in March 2023. During my stay, I dined at the in-house restaurant "Serena by the Sea" for all my meals. Every dish served was hell yummy. I tried everything from Calamari fry, Tandoori Red Snapper, Cheesy mushroom, to kadhi pakoda and all these dishes were SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALODOCIOUS. Asim and Vinnie are great hosts. And I look forward to visiting again.

Gorgeous beachfront views, delicious food. In India I’ve probably eaten my weight in paneer tikka, and theirs was definitely superb.
There’s a hotel next door, and a boardwalk straight down to the beach.
They don’t take cards, so make sure to bring cash.

I had a wonderful time at Serena by the Sea! The hosts were warm, the service was impeccable and the food was a comfort. I was so blown away by their BROWNIE WITH ICECREAM that I was compelled to share the good word—

This is the best brownie with ice cream I've had in years!! The serving size is generous and the icecream is the perfect double scoop so you're not left with just brownie at the end. The bake itself is crumbly and light, not too dense or dry as is the case in most places.

A must try for chocolate lovers (or anyone looking to convert a friend to the chocolate lifestyle)!

Be sure to try out their other restaurant, La Fetta, as well! It provides its guests with the same Blissful Brownie :)

If you are visiting the Agonda beach in South Goa, Serena by the Sea is a must-visit for everyone. Firstly, the food is amazing. There is a variety of options available from their well designed menu. An accompanying drink is a must-have here, especially the delicious cocktails and mocktails by Amir at the bar. Secondly, the view and ambience is almost movie-like. The bamboo and straw theme of the restaurant compliments the beautiful view of the clear and serene seashore in daytime. You will be greeted with candle-lamp lit tables, cozy chairs and the cool coastal breeze coming from the Arabian sea at dinner time. The music is soothing and cool. Finally, the people at the restaurant are a bunch of friendly, smiling and hospitable people. The owners (Asim and Vinnie) are kind and helpful. The rest of the staff is also sweet, and very accommodating and provide swift service. It is a dog-friendly place, with cute and friendly dogs and puppers to meet and play with. The restaurant is very pocket friendly, and worth the money. I will definitely be visiting them next season!
