It is good for visit when you are in karera. Some part of fort is breaked but it's ok . It has a beautiful temple and you love the view from the top.

Lovely place. It's ancient place but now it turns out a beautiful tourist place. In this fort, you have blessed with Lord shiva. Actually, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, It is supposed to be blessed, If you pray with whole heartedly.

This fort is very close to me some mysterious energy attract me to this place and I will start exploring this place after a month and I think in this fortress some mysterious story and some thing which we don't know take place I want to find some historical things from this and want to make this fortress popular in all over India so the government remake all this fort again we only see the top of hill fort but we don't know how deep fort it is and what is hidden form us I am archeologist and a student.

Very nice place to visit and to see the real historical monuments and other things and much development had taken place it's built in very big place also there is a lake where we can have bath but only swimmers and quality of the lake is that no one knows how deep it is. We can see monkey there . We can visit there for picnic .

Nice experience

This place is beautiful but not maintained properly. The only day to visit which I prefer is Mahashivratri. You'll find it clean and beautiful that day.

Its a historical place, located in hearts of karera, if you are lover of historical places, a good place to visit once, also near by you will find some good ancient temples, all things can make your day.

Karera Fort is located in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. It is believed that the fort was built by Parmar ruler Punyapal Parmar. The charm of the fort remains intact even today. There are temples, mosques and mausoleums within the fort. The well, pond, and 'bawdi' inside the fort are also worth seeing. The Karera fort has been witness to important historical events. It was also ruled by Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, who became the ruler of this fort after the death of her husband Gangadhar.
