It's a roundabout housing the statue of Late Biju Patnaik (former Chief Minister of Odisha) so, it's a historical landmark. Many beautiful artefacts have been built around recently to showcase the beauty of the district, i.e., Mayurbhanj.

The Baripada head post office (India post), Roxy cinema theatre, Grand restaurant, Shree Balaji restaurant, Hotel Bishram, a Bharat Petroleum petrol pump, a few ATMs, many smartphone brands care centres, a Sulabh Sauchalaya, many small garment stores alongwith many other small shops and hotels are present nearby. It's one of the epicentres of business in Baripada town as it has a wide range of businesses on site and connects important areas of the town. So, this place remains busy all the day and serves as an important landmark in Baripada.

The Baripada bus stand is a few metres away and can be reached by autorickshaws or even by walking. You just need to follow the Kacheri road to get there.
