It is the only such university dedicated to languages in South Asia. EFLU, Hyderabad was founded in 1958 as the Central Institute of English by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. The Central Institute of English, Hyderabad had started functioning with effect from 17 November 1958.

One of the best universities in India. This is the only one English and Foreign Languages University. I got admission here in PGCTE. Well qualified and experienced professors. Excellent culture and atmosphere in the campus. I love this University. You must try it once in your life

English and foreign language University also know as EFLU or EFL University. It's a central government University. It’s one of the best Language University around south asia. The campus is not so big but quality of education and life inside eflu is fantastic. I love eflu campus but there is one problem outsiders can’t visit eflu, if you want to eflu you permission and reason to visit.

One of it's unique kind in South Asia. This University offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate programs in English, Hindi and other foreign languages. It also offers teacher education programs like B.Ed, PGDTE and PGDTA. The campus is green and calm. The library, Ramesh Mohan Library has a real good collection of research books.

Doing MA English cafeteria here. The university has a unique system of education. The student has to select 4 or 5 courses from 28 courses for each semester, and in two years, we have an opportunity to choose from about 70 courses. It is a real adaptation of foreign university system, and only one campus in India with such a system. Thanking Almighty for giving me such a chance.

A university where I spent best par of my educational life . I really enjoyed my stay doing my Ph.D program in the university. I recommend all that if you are looking for a bright and promising career in language and literature of any major languages in the world, then Eflu is , undoubtedly , your university.

I had been a student two years ago in PGCTE course. The most remarkable thing is the adaptive and avant garde approach towards learning. Teachers are friendly. Campus is sprawling. Hostel rooms are neat. Beautiful place of learning in a word.

Did my part time language course here. The quality of teaching is world class, they do not have double standards when it comes to part time courses. Id recommend the university for part time courses.
