Very nice place. Odia show for cosmic life starts at 5 pm. Hindi at 2 pm and English show at 3.30 pm. Park is very beautiful.

It's a newly constructed facility in Burla, a small but beautiful town located near famous Hirakud dam.

It's named after legendary former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam sir.

The planetarium has a very good scientific garden which is good for kids. It's being well maintained. It has separate restrooms for gents and ladies.

There are three shows daily (2 pm , 3 pm and 4 pm) on normal weekdays where they showcase various facts about universe and human culture. The three shows are in three different languages i.e. Oriya, Hindi and English. They have a very good 360 degree 3d screen for the short film. It's a good experience viewing the facts on that screen.

It's very near to the famous Jagannath temple of Burla and merely 2 km distance from Hirakud dam.

This Planetarium is Amazing place to visit to get the basic knowledge of astronomy... Hindi/English/odiaa shows are shown. Cleaniness in planetarium is excellent. The science park in front of planetarium is cool and very interesting....good place for kids those who are really really interested for science....also the show in planetarium is quite informative and very interesting. Do visit this place and have fun...

Great place for science student many practical based equipment are here to understand physics chemistry and biology, the planaterium is very beautiful and clean, toilet is also available here.

The town is around 15km away from the Sambalpur district headquarters town. Sir A.P.J Abdul Kalam Planetorium is in Burla. It is near the Jagannath Temple. 1km away from the burla market. It is a very good place for amusement. It is famous among the Locality. Very good Planetorium and Science Park. Very good place for Students. Ticket price is only 10 rupees for Science Park. For Planetorium show ticket price is 30 rupees. Food and water is Available in the stalls near the Planetorium.
