Alhamdulillah new portion has been opened recently to facilitiate the people during the rainy season and on occasions. Thanking from deepest heart to all the people who put their effort and coming forward for constructing new portion and working on masjid development.

Facilities
1. Well maintained and clean Masjid. Masha Allah.
2. Proper ventilation is there both in new and old portion.
3. Seperate space for keeping Janaza.
4. Chairs facilities also taken care for older people.
5. Graveyard is also maintained very neat and clean.
6. Drinking water cold and normal both available.

Usually all mosque will be peaceful no doubt, but Qila mosque some what give me happiness and peace when i visit, my late grandfather Jambu Ismail was the mutavali once upon a time. May Allah grant him Jannah and granny too. Ameen

Fort Masjid is where I grew up my house was exactly front of the Masjid I spent my childhood and younger days of life offering namaz reading Quran serving peoples in the Masjid it's a very calm very very calm place

About Vaniyambadi
Town in India

Vaniyambadi is a town in the Tirupathur district of Tamil Nadu and the headquarter for the Vaniyambadi Revenue district comprising Vaniyambadi and Ambur. It is located about 200 km from Chennai and 178 kilometer from Bengaluru. The Vaniyambadi Municipality was formed by the G.O. MS. No. 421 Local & Municipality Dept. in April 1886. In 1996 this Municipality was upgraded to Grade II Municipality by G.O. MS. NO. 118 Rural Development Local Administration Dept. dated 01.05.1996. In 1998 this Municipality was upgraded to 1st Grade. It is one of the hubs of Leather exports in Tamil Nadu. It is also famous throughout India for its special Vaniyambadi Biryani. The city is the home for many prestigious century-old educational institutions viz. The Vaniyambadi Muslim Educational Society, The Hindu Higher Secondary School.
