कैरी महादेव Kehri Mahadev जो कि एक अत्यन्त रमणीय पर्यटन स्थान है, जो कि रातापानी अभयारण्य में स्थित है, यहां तक पहुंचने का रास्ता कोलार डैम के रास्ते में पड़ने वाले शिव मंदिर ( कोलार वाटर ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट) के बगल में बने रातापानी अभयारण्य के झिरी गेट से है। वन विभाग के द्वारा अब ये मार्ग विकसित किया गया है, यहां से कैरी ( पिकनिक स्पॉट / महादेव मंदिर ) जाने का शुल्क Rs.150 है जबकि वहां से आगे ओबेदुल्लागंज से सलकनपुर मार्ग पर निकलने को शुल्क Rs.750 है, यहां से सफर शुरु करते ही आप रोमांच से भर उठते हैं, मिट्टी को समतल करके बनाए गए रास्ते के दोनों तरफ आप को जंगल का अद्भुद नजारा देखने को मिलता है.

This is just ridiculous. I went there on my road bike to explore the jungle but found that they don't allow you to go in on your persona vehicle. You can only go in one of their jeeps for which the ticket costs around Rs. 5k to 6k.
I hate the Ministry of Tourism for looting people so badly. Went the very first time and got a terrible experience. My whole ride was fine as the roads, nature and weather was really great.

Went there for jungle Safari at 6AM. The place is surreal with only some deer and birds. They claim to have 40-60 tigers in the reserve but we could not find any. The total time it took us was 3-4 hours and it was dam boring. Also, there were some hut and some village people around which made it clear why we couldn't spot any tiger. One safari ride with 6 people cost is 4200 inr total which is exorbitant imo. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
