Amirthi Water Fall

Very nice place to hangout with friends and cool place to play in the water fall. The place is so beautiful and the nature is kept alive and kept clean. But the zoological park is not maintained upto the level and there is no much animals. And it's so sad to see only one monkey is in the cage and the other monkeys are a big nuisance for the public and actually it's scary and a big hindrance.

Waters come only raining time beautiful kindly requested don't throw the plastics...

You have to hike a bit to reach out the waterfall. But once you reached out there then you have entered a whole new world.

It is a nice place for hanging out with friends. If you are a kind of person who wants to enjoy the nature you will surely like this place. The road is not so good and there is no public transportation. You should arrange your own transportation. In this water falls, water flows from very low height but in large quantity. The water was so cold that I could only stand for few minutes. Nice place for a family picnic. Pack your food as there are no restaurant or hotels nearby.

Excellent Place for Family Outing. Located near Vellore. Car Parking is there. First we enter the Zoological Park and from there there is a Trekking path to the Water Falls. The Distance is only within 1 km.

It is a very small Water Fall. Anyone expecting a Huge Waterfall with cascading Water would be disappointed. But this Waterfall is very pleasant. When we went it is only Knee Deep flowing water. So no worry for allowing Children to play in Water. What can be a better place for outing than this, where Children are able to play freely without any tension? IN THIS WAY, I CAN SAY IT IS ONE OF THE NICE PLACE FOR OUTING.

There are Minus points too requiring improvements. First, there is not even a Small Restaurant. So We have to go prepared with Food. There is only a Ice Cream Vendor and hawkers. Once we reach the Water Front, nothing is available.

Secondly, there is no covered place for changing Clothes for Women. Authorities should pay attention to this drawback.

This Place is very nice and has the potential to become an Attractive Tourist Destination provided Efforts are made to publicise about this Place and provide basic amenities.

A mini zoo, waterfalls, long river, forest, rooms, children park are ways for spending the weekend.
A natural place to enjoying a whole day located near Vellore (hottest city) for relaxation a day.
For safety reasons and polluting the falls now government as not allowed to visit the water falls. A bus facilities available from Vellore busstand. A valuable and god's gift for Vellore people.

Super forest place with Animal zoo & Water fall, in that place i visited in summer, the stream flows even in hot summer.

Nice place for summer vocation visit.
With family & friends. ( morning 8.am to 5 pm ideal time.
