Highest point of the Sylhet division. The peak is locally known as Longlar Pahar as well. It is located inside the Muraichhara Eco Park. The park has been deforested drastically and soon the ecosystem is going to collapse if it's continued further.

It's undoubtedly a pretty great hike for nature lovers. The best season to hike is obviously winter. The trail is steep in certain points which would be slippery during the monsoon and can be rather difficult.

Kalapahar, also known as Debbarma Haphong in Khasi, is the highest peak of northern Bangladesh. It is located near Robir bazar of Kulaura Upazila in Moulvibazar District, and is only a 3-4 hour trek from Azgarabad Tea Estate. Kalapahar is also accessible from Rajki tea estate near Fultola bazar of Juri Upazila.

Kalapahar is a popular tourist destination for its stunning views of the surrounding countryside, including the Hakaluki Haor, the largest wetland in Bangladesh. On a clear day, it is even possible to see the Himalayas in the distance.

You got to pass 3 stages: plain land, water trail and the final approaching trail to summit the peak. And the last part is toughest.

It will take 6 hours for up and down. You must need an expert guide along with you. Try to avoid rainy day for a safer journey. But, the truth is kalapahar is more beautiful in the rainyday.

Please take proper preparation before go there. It's really a place with dangerous trails where people hardly go there.

Kalapahar is the highest peak of Sylhet divison and it is almost 1098 feet. Its not that famous among the travelers or tourists. So its almost a new place to travel. Its in kulaura of Moulovibazar district and to summit the kalapahar peak it will take 3-4 hours by walking.

The great place in sylhet zone. It is the highest peak point in zylhet zone in bangladesh. Great place for tracking. From tea state it takes 3hr to reach to the peak point. Nice view of india flat land can see from this peak point. You should take a guide otherwise you can lost in the jungle. Need to take a group of at least five people because the way of tracking is so calm and silent.

Best place to visit. I'll recommend you to go ehen the winter season is available. The winter seasons views is priceless 🔥🔥
