Bodhi Tree

It's a land of sadhana where nature open the door of buddhist and Indic practices.

It’s historical place but Govt didn’t have any importance to this place. No development. Not even people aware with such history.
Roads are in poor condition.

You definitely visit this place. Historical place

The Bodhi Tree is planted here in 2008 by Shrilakan President. It is planted cuttings of ancient Bodhi Tree which was taken to Shrilanka by Samrat Ashokas descendant Mahendra and Sanghmitra back in bc era. New Bodhi university is proposed nearby area here.

The Bodhi tree has grown from a sapling that was planted by Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa on September 21, 2012 at the site of the International University of Buddhist and Indic Studies, just a few kilometers from Sanchi world heritage site.

Something interesting amazing view

Very famous tree. MP.govt secured it and spent 12 to 15lacs INR every year.
