It is the 2nd largest hanging railway over bridge of india. Now it is open for all types of vehicles.. it reduces the terrific traffic problem in front of bardhaman jn. It connects kalna- katwa to kolkata- durgapur.. overall it increases the beauty of Bardhaman.. out of total 300cr expenditure, railway department and west bengal govt. share 50-50.

It is a 4 Lane Over Bridge in Burdwan Railway Junction. Very nice and clean roads and well maintained bridge.

One of most loved place of the city people. It will remind you the 2nd Hooghly setu of Kolkata. Motor Bike and four wheelers are allowed on the bridge. Cycling is not allowed. But you can enjoy the view by walking as there are side walks for the pedestrian. View from the top is quite remarkable. You will Love it ❤

Burdwan Railway overbridge . India's second largest railway overbridge in West Bengal. The Indian Railways has completed the construction of the giant four-lane cable-stayed railway overbridge (RoB) at Burdwan Junction in West Bengal. Built at a cost of ₹300 crore, the project is the result of a 50:50 partnership between the Ministry of Railways and the West Bengal government, officials said.The railway overbridge connects Burdwan town with the two sub-divisions of Kalna and Katwa, and is on the Howrah–Bardhaman main line.

Very nice and beautiful hanging bridge..but still now it is for 4 wheelers ,bus, truck etc..2 or 3 wheelers are not allowed to go on the bridge
