Very good picnic spot, great for getting close to the nature and birds , if you visit in right time you could get chance to see flamingoes!!

The world famous flamingo bird is located here. All all other species of birds are here. Visit in rainy season. It is on the way. The special thing is inside dam we have maruti temple it very spritual.

As it is my hometown it is awesome! If you visit this place is between November to February you will fall in love with nature! Clean air, no rush only government and people should take care of this place.

Though past peek season--it was February 12, 2016--there were Eurasian Spoonbills, Red-naped Ibises, Drongos, Yellow- and Red-wattled Lapwings, Green Bee Eater, Souther Grey Shrike, a number of species of ducks, and purple sunbirds, I would very much like to come back in October to December, when the migration is at its height.
