Kasar Devi Temple Almora

There's a saying about this place that it's believed to be located on the Earth's Van Allen Belt( a huge lectromagnetic field ). The place surely has some extremely strong and positive aura. You can have the best view of both sunrise and the sunset here. People come for meditation and yoga, and even after spending hours in silence, you won't get even a bit bored here !

I visited this place with my friends and had the most amazing time here. The hike up the temple gave us amazing views of the Himalayas. I would recommend you to visit on a sunny day so you get a clear view of the mountain range. Amazing place to just sit silently in the lap of nature and take in all the views. The photos come out great too. Recommend you to look around and find other secluded or not so secluded areas other than the temple for pictures and good views.
This place is a great meditation spot. Swami Vivekanand has been believed to have meditated here. Uphill from Kasar Devi temple is a Shiv temple as well. So you can go visit that as well. There's an overpriced food van near the temple. The coffee was good. We got Maggi and momos. Both were okay but extremely overpriced. So if you can, go eat somewhere else.

Peaceful place. Best place for meditation. I personally felt really energetic after siting here for sometime. And do not miss the sunset here. To reach the shiva temple on top , it’s around 30-50 steps to climb.

The best place to visit in almora as here you can have peace and the view is speechless many tourists also come here and this place has some sort of aura or something and whenever I get time I went here this place has created a revolution as now in kasar you will find out a number of restaurants / hotels this place always contributed in almora rise to outer world only 500 M walk to temple and then you gonna witness true beauty of god and the special attraction is the stones as its is believed that Pandu son Bheem as done farming in uttarakhand so the stones are pretty impressive here and here are mo such restrictions to take photographs or video recordings etc.
From here 99 percent of almora is visible to us best place for meditation as swami Vevekand has also meditated here so you should once in your life visit here

Amidst the serene pine jungle, right outside busy almora town, this temple is situated. It is a great place known for van Allen belt passing through it. Great place for spending peaceful time and mediation.

Most peaceful destination I have ever visited. One can sit and meditate here in the Shiva temple. There are few food options available near the temple. Also there is a cave beneath the Temple where Swami Vivekananda meditated in ancient times.

The temple was closed when i visit early in the morning. Though it is an awsome spot to capture a sunrise, and also for a sunrise walk. You can really feel positivity in the vicinity around the temple. It also has a shiv temple nearby. It is a spot for morning and evening walks too along with a spiritual touch.

So beautiful and peaceful place. you will find a holy temple of devi kasar & lord Shiva, beautiful sunset, peaceful nature, amazing view and fresh clean and cool wind comming from the velly. If you visit here at winter season please keep in mind to have warm clothes because it has a cold weather.

Calm and peaceful place, more so during the sunset time. 2 ways to reach - If you park at the base of the temple as per this location, you’ll have to trek for around 10 mins.
Another way is there(Sharda Math Road ) from where trek is around 5 mins.

Kasardevi Temple is a very different kind of a place with such high energies. If you are a spiritual person you should surely feel the energy of this place. Since a long time saints have been coming to this place. It's also famous for hippies. Best time to visit is during sunset.
