Great place to explore. Even you ll be able to see wild animals . The best thing about this place is that you ll have the peace the best of all things. The weather is just fabulous so that you can see the beauty of nature. The maintenance is great . The path that leads to the desitination is good. On the way you may be able to see dear, monkey etc . The path is covered with fance in order to keep the animals away from the path so that the visitors remain safe. Come and have a look only then you'll be able to experience the joy. Adios.

The national park is the homeland of the various wild beasts. The authority of the park maintain all the amenities for these animals and they are given the full scope to enjoy the freedom in every respect and grow their population.Due to heavy inflow of tourists the animals and their lives are in danger and for that reason it has been decided that the prior permission is required and causing any harm to the animals or hunting is a serious criminal offence. There are wild boar, sambar, nilgai, cheetal, kakar and tigers are the main attractions of the park.

Very old sanctuary. Prior to promulgation of wildlife protection act 1972, poachers where active in the park. Now fauna improving.

Chital , shambhar , moose deer , nilgai(bluebull), rabbit ,fox ,jackal , various reptiles can be seen. There are many towers where one can enjoy the view of forest. There is an inclosure where herbivores animal can be seen easily. Cottage available to stay can only be booked through wild life forest division office, Hazaribag near private bus stand. Canteen is poorly maintained usually visitors bring row material for food of their interest because market is 15 kilometre far from this place. No electricity, power generator service is available.

Earlier it was home to tigers, leopards, and many more animals but now rarely animals other than nilgai and hyena are seen. It is known that many foreigners also used to visit the then-called National Park, but due to lack of care by government, it has become mere a forest. Very few tourists can be seen now. Hazaribagh, which was known as a tourist destination, is now losing its title.Earlier it was home to tigers, leopards, and many more animals but now rarely animals other than nilgai and hyena are seen. First I came here in 2013 and since then I love this place came back again in oct 2017.It's a nice place calm and quiet in the lap of mother nature.
You can even stay here with your family and friends at night in the cottages and you will have an amazing experience but you have buy vegetables, rice, meat, etc. from the market and the cook will cook for you.

When I came in 2013 no source of electricity was present and the workers fetched water from the lake but now they have installed generators and water pumps.

If you are very lucky then you might be able to see some peacocks and spotted deers.
At night howling of foxes is common and you may even see one of them.Overall it was a great experience.

Hazaribagh wildlife sanctuary is one of the best location to spot natural wild life in a open space. It is very beautiful and scenic view surrounded with lust greenery all around. It has a tiger 🐅 capturing cave where in ancient times it use to capture tiger for the safety of tigher and the mankind. This place has too much of sapce in it. It is quite big like 5 to 8 km in one side of it. You can spot deer, monkey 🐒, peacock, 🐺, snake 🐍 and many birds. You can visit the sanctuary and enjoy the calmness of the environment and you can get relax.
Although as of now there is no 🐯 tiger and any dangerous animals over there but in some occasions elephant 🐘 use to appears in that sanctuary.
It's a safe place with friends and family members there is also guest house 🏠 and room available to spend time in the jungle.
Come and enjoy the beauty of jharkhand.

Hazaribagh Wild Life Sanctuary is one of the best place for visiting the wild and unknown. It might have lost the tiger population which is not visible-- may be gone into the core area. But there are lots of picnic spots, watch tower, and a central place called Rajdarwa where you can relax, have snacks and optional lunch and go for a boating. Must visit please
