GKM GRAND HOTEL

We had a very comfortable stay at GKM Grand Hotel, Port Blair. The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the town. Mr. Guruswamy arranged our tour of the Andamans impeccably with utmost professionalism and we did not have to worry about a thing. GKM Grand has big, clean rooms with spotless linen and towels. The food is really great and reasonably priced. The sort of hospitality we enjoyed was truly overwhelming. Would definitely recommend GKM Grand, their Andaman tour package and would love to stay at the hotel again on a re-visit to the amazing islands.
And lastly, this is for Mr. Guruswamy - you are one of the most humble, honest and professional men I have ever met. Thank you for making our Andaman experience a memorable one!

It was a very great stay at GKM grand. We had a comfy and cozy experience overall at the hotel. The buffet breakfast is so delicious and has varieties which meets everyone's expectations. The staffs are fiendly and helpful. The owner is at our reach for any kind of doubts or help. He ensures people there has a safe and comfy stay at his hotel and checks us out if we are fine with the facilities. The rooms are nice, large and with all kinds of facilities like kettle, bath kit, towels and spreads. The ambience of the room is little old-fashioned which gives us a different kind of experience. I would recommend people visiting port blair to choose GKM Grand.

It was the fascinating experience to stay with the GKM Grand . We felt a fabulous and friendly ecosytem with them .
They were very polite and lovely with and the arrangements done by them were very plesant .
Then comming to Foods and services we had a very quality in both buffae and other system.
Next rooms and ambience there were at the modern level infrastructure with warming ambience
Overall we felt a wonderful experience with them for trip and it will be remarkable journey in our life.

You will get many hotels in andaman but never the good people like Guru swami ji. Everyone in the staff was very caring. Even when I got sick, he personally paid attention. Thank you, guru swami ji and the hotel staff.

The best hotel in Port Blair😍 their service is awesome,their buffet for breakfast and dinner is delicious, rooms are so beautiful and also it's views are awesome they offer so many veg and non veg dishes in their buffet 😋 U must visit this hotel once

Best hotel to stay in Andaman. Service, maintenance, food were superb. Owner was so friendly and I felt as if I was at home.Wonderful place to stay in.

Good hotel on the main road. It's ok for a couple of nights stay. They have their own restaurent downstairs and buffet breakfast is available

It was a sudden chance to be there in GKM Grand Hotel as my flight was cancelled that day. At first I had little doubt whether the hotel would be good enough for stay. But at first sight my doubt was clear. At first, the location of the hotel is good. This area of Port Blair is considered as well connected with rest of the city as well as clean and nice. The well behaved staff of the hotel received us cordially. The room alloted for us is really good. The decor and other things of the room were well enough. The restaurant of the hotel served good and delicious food both in dinner and breakfast. I appreciate the restaurant staff and the cooks.
In a nutshell I suggest this hotel for those who want to visit and stay at Port Blair.

I highly recommend this place for tourists for their stay at Port Blair... Room prices were reasonable with friendly staff and owner. Well Hygiene Rooms. Serves quality morning breakfast according to your ferry/cruise timings. For Lunch mad Dinner to no need to step out searching for Restaurants as it is having a restaurant attached at Cellar. Our 2 nights of stay was excellent at GKM Grand.

Mr Gurusamy Sir And Amudha Madam were very helpful to arrange our tour arrangements, Hotel Staffs are very friendly and approachable, Rooms are spacious and very clean with amenities.

Stayed a night in the Hotel and it was complete value for Money. Mr Guruswamy, the owner of the hotel is very humble and down to earth person ever met across. He went out of of way to ensure the comfort of us who had been to Port Blair for the first time. He takes care of each customer with diligence. I thank him for his helping nature and providing best services.

Top 1 reason why you must pick this hotel - The bathroom & shower are super clean and amazing.

One thing I am frustrated about: The curtains are thin and almost white which makes the room so bright. The curtains must be dark and the guest should decide if they want to keep the room by opening it or keep the room dark by closing it. Bright bedrooms when I wake up in the morning literally triggers my migraine and so I was so frustrated with it but since the rooms were paid in full, I didn't want to go looking for another place. Also, the staffs and owner were courteous and that made me stay despite the frustration.

I loved everything else about this place.

Also, the disconnecting wifi and data limit is a bit frustrating. I was literally asking for the credentials everyday more than three times.

Other than the curtain and wifi, which might not even an issue for a lot of people, this place is just wonderful.

We've visited 4 hotels in our Andaman trip, this hotel is the best👍💯, they provided us the premium most room. The owner Mr. Guruswamy was very much cordial & helpful. The food quality & quantity was Awesome👍. The behavior of the staffs were cordial.
I've one suggestion please provide the toothbrush, toothpaste and a comb for the guest.

Hotel was very clean, had good food and a welcoming atmosphere. The staffs were very courteous and kind. The response timings were very quick and prompt. The hotel has a limited free high speed wifi facility. I absolutely have no complaints. I would definitely visit the hotel for sure if i visit Andaman. They also offer other packages for visiting other islands and etc. The general facilities were perfectly working, i.e. heater, a.c, showers were all working perfectly. Room was very spacious. The staff were trustworthy and honest. They really are kind and helping, In one such scenario, we were leaving the hotel in wee hours (3 AM), they provided us with timely reminders, so we don't over sleep 😅 and provided us freshly cooked food promptly with smiling faces. To sum up the overall stay and experience was very comfortable and will be budget friendly.

Professionally managed hotel. The owner is always present at the premises to look upon every detail. Very prompt service from food to every little necessity that you might have. Quality of Rooms, washrooms, restaurant, food all are great. Very co operative staff. Try their Chicken 65 and French fries, better than anything I have tasted. Highly recommended for your stay at Port Blair.

The hotel is very clean. All the staffs are very good. They are quick. Even the breakfast is ❤. I loved the food. The hotel owner is also kind and friendly. Here in the front of the hotel you can get fresh fish and just u have to tell the cook to prepare it. They prepared it with extra charge. The owner of the hotel, dropped us to the airport without any extra charge. I had a very nice and pleasant experience. The airport was something 5-7 mins away. All essential shops are near to this hotel.

The owner sri A. Gurusamy sir is present at the premises round the clock and take care and fulfilled the needs of everyone. He treats everyone of us as his relative. After getting the consent from the guests only the daily menu is prepared which is very sumptuous, tasteful and delicious. The rooms are very nice, neat, spacious and accomodative to all. They provide the basic amenities like towels, cheppals, soaps, room fresher, mosquito repellent and coffee maker with all the requirements in the room itself without asking it for.Everyday the room is refreshed with modern gadgets. The hospitality of the staff is unmatched, unparalleled and tremendous with smiling face. Every staff take care of our needs in an exemplary manner. Whenever We are asking to go to anywhere immediately Gurusamy sir arranged the vehicle with smiling face.There was no hitch up in our itinerary. Definitely the stay in the hotel is marvelous and exceeds our expectations. We never forget the rich experience that gained in the hotel. Last but not the least that every one of us feels the hotel as their own house. I strongly recommend this hotel for a cozy stay. With heavy heart we left the hotel with sweet memories.
