I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the outstanding service and hospitality that we experienced during our recent stay.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, and every interaction with the owner only reinforced my positive impression.

Had an amazing experience here. The huts were spacious and comfortable. They're made according different tribes' architecture. The hospitality was also really good and fits well within budget. The host also helped us with many places we could visit around in Majuli. Definitely recommended.

The property is like a little Hamlet beautifully done up by the host Mr. Jahnu Barua. Once you are there, it seems like an Indian fairy tale location with pretty huts built amidst a serene Assamese village back-drop. The flora and fauna of the place does not let you leave. Add to this the silence of the location and the sounds of the local wildlife and birds makes you feel lost in the woods with all the modern day amenities.

The host Mr. Barua stays at the property with his parents who are a very nice and warm family. He himself is highly educated and a learned person with immense experience of different aspects of life, working professionally in a place like Mumbai and bringing himself back to Majuli ever so often.

Uncle and Aunty are very quiet people, but one can sense the warmth in the way they treat you to a nice, warm local meal, should you wish to have one.

My visit to Majuli was one of the highlights of my trip to North East India and surely, Maheshwar Land was my highlight of Majuli.

Would look forward to my next visit there soon, probably this time to just stay there in peace without any agenda and slow life down for a bit.

Great value for price. The advice we received from the owner regarding sightseeing was special and provided us with a great experience.

Tried to charge us a little bit too much to drive us to the ferry but I guess that’s the Indian way. As other people mentioned the food isn’t cheap but it does taste very good.

All in all we had an amazing time in Majuli and can recommend this place.

It was really a very memorable experience... We are fortunate to have a host like Jahnu Boruah Sir... Very down to earth personality with warm welcoming attitude... Very budget and public friendly place... You will get the reality of ethnic and traditional life style... I am highly recomending this place to experience the rural life... They are helping in a best way to explore the Majuli Island... Some are writing food is over pricing but literally food is very tasty and hygienic... Best wishes to Maheswar Land...

This is a beautiful place with Bamboo Hut styled rooms with pleasant surrounding. The owner Jahnu boruah is very friendly and welcoming guy, you can have a good conversation with him. Here they provide tasty homely assamese food. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic stay for Tourist, Travellers and Backpackers. Host to so cool and great. We will get a family atmosphere from there.

Food they are providing is framed in majuli and we get good healthy and tasty food.

Wifi is available.

Parking space is also available.

Tents, family rooms, group tour room etc available.

They will organise a perfect village tour in cheap rate also.

Stayed at this place with wife & kids in January 2020, we loved this place and enjoyed the stay. Mr. Jahnu Boruah is dynamic, energetic person with good knowledge of local culture & history. His parents are very genuine, humble and down to earth people. Just in 3 days stay we felt like we are part of family and culture. Strongly suggest this place to all nature lovers and explorers.

Extremely homely and kind owners. Jahnu da was very very very very hospitable and he specially took us around to explore the 'ofbeat' and 'unseen' Majuli. Helped us with every minute detail. Uncle and aunty were very supportive too. The home cooked food was just a cherry on the cake. The location, cleanliness and the room, everything was top notch. Would definitely visit again and recommend the place to anyone who is visiting majuli :)

First time in Majuli and this place has given me the right experience. The owner and his family provided a great experience from stay to food to exploring around.

Touch everywhere.the food is a little bit costly but they provide locally produced food.good place for resting away from hustle of daily city life.

This is the most budgeted resort of Majuli. The place is well maintained and Hospitality of our host Mr Jahnu Baruah, Uncle and Aunty is unfathomable. It felt like home away from home.

Me and my friends come from north lakhimpur to visit majuli ,we stayed 4 days in maheswar land resort at garmur and u can't believe it's really budget friendly and it provides very good services at a very reasonable cost .

Amazing place wrapped in the arms of mother nature of the world's largest river island Majuli. The place is clean, sanitized and fresh, a must visit.
