This Devi temple is one of the 51 Shakti peeth. It is said that the left brest fell here of Devi Sati. Also Devi in Pandava dream told them to make a temple here so that she secure them, and they built it. Streets are narrow to reach the temple. Temple structure is beautiful.

Also called the Kangra Devi temple, this temple is one of the 51 shaktipeeths. Legends said that the left breast of mata fell here, thus making it one of the shaktipeeths.
Although there are two ways to get into the temple, yet I’ll suggest you to choose the main way. Park your vehicle in a parking lot and then start your 10-15 min journey by foot.
On the way towards the temple, you will find many shops of prasads and other accessories.
During my visit, the temple was being renovated and the crowd was a little less in number, so the darshan was very smooth for me.
Overall, I suggest all of you to be patient and don’t rush yourself into the crowd. May mata fulfil all your wishes.. Jai mata di.

Jai Maa Brijeshwari Devi 🚩🙏🏻

Brijeshwari Devi Mandir, located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, is a prominent shrine dedicated to the Goddess Durga, one of the Hindu deities. As a visitor to this temple, I was amazed by the sheer beauty and grandeur of the place.

The temple is rich in history, having been constructed in the 10th Century AD and destroyed twice due to invaders over the years. However, it has been rebuilt and restored to its original glory, and the architecture of this temple is breathtaking. The intricate carvings on the temple walls and the sapphire blue tiles used in the roof reflect the craftsmanship of the artisans who created it.

What also struck me about this temple was the spiritual energy that seemed to fill the space, making it feel like a truly sacred site. The temple was bustling with devotees who were earnestly praying and offering their respects to the deities. It was also heartwarming to see numerous volunteers selflessly serving food and water to visitors, showcasing the culture of this temple.

The temple administration is well-organized, ensuring that the visitation is comfortable for all visitors. Visitors are required to take off their footwear before entering the temple and follow the set of rules guiding the temple visitation.

In conclusion, Brijeshwari Devi Mandir is an awe-inspiring temple with a rich history and stunning architecture. The spiritual energy of the place combined with the hospitality of the Hindu community made for a truly memorable visit. This temple is undoubtedly a must-visit destination for anyone traveling through Himachal Pradesh or seeking a spiritual haven.
