Haryana Kurukshetra is a holy city with historic importance and famous for Brhma Sarovar & temples. Brahma Sarovar is a big water body that attracts Millions of people every year and is most crowded during the festive seasons.

The Sarovar was big & clean. A partition was made in the Sarovar to indicate the safe side for bathing. However, good swimmers were jumping the other side and enjoying.

Brahma Sarovar is an ancient water pool sacred to Hinduism in old Kurukshetra city, in the state of Haryana in North India, India. Hinduism lays emphasis on taking bath for internal and external purity. Most religious sites have water pools or sarovar in or near the Hindu temple and Sikh gurdwara.

Very good Place

Its a really nice place, in evening on Arti Sathal where every evening people gather to worship and get relief. Event though it's also an nice place to chill for youngster they can even take short bath with no worries as fences make it secure. Nearby there's alot more places in kurukshetra with different traditions and histories.

The whole scenario was amazing. If you are here at 6 in the evening then you must mark your presence with so many people attending the pooja ceremony. The chanting of mantras and aartis with make you travel another zone of your life.

Very good place it's place for hinduism. And very Hindu atmosphere here. .lots of sadhu and. Lots of twmplesa are there. Posters of ram and hanu man(Ramayan) is been there on lots of walls of kurukshtra . A. Very interesting place . There is an Very good engineering college known as NIT KURUKSHETRA which is located near maha arrti..it's is in BAMSAROVAR. These is place where Mahabharata was fought..
Nearest bus stand is. Pepli which at few km away from this place .

The festival of Geeta Jayanti is very famous and widely celebrated during this time period of the year.
