Best experience ever....what a natural beauty here....best in early morning....but if you can not do early morning visit then don't worry about that your experience is extremely well always..... don't go in night...best in rainy season like july to September.....be safe driving and enjoy your extremely exciting beautiful natural experience

Views are astonishing. It's a peaceful place if you are lucky, it's got a shed and please if you plan to party / picnic here .. take you thrash back with you. Place is not recommended if you have toddlers as the railing doesn't cover the complete spot. Be Careful.

Need a little bit of maintenance by local authorities
Just on the road so need not to walk a lot, like Sonmunda which is an another sunrise view point.

And yes, many traveller confused this place with sonmunda too.
In photographs i have seen many photographs of Sonmunda which is opposite side of Amarkanta (अमरकंठ)

अमरकंठ Is an another name of maa Narmada.

One of the very best cliff of the mountains of the Amarkantak from where we can see the beauty of the valley .....It is as good as SONMUDA...

The plus point of the site is that it is very near to main road no extra efforts needed to be there....

One of the my favourite about this place is to see Sunrise there..
